When a storm damages a roof, a pipe bursts behind a wall or a car's sensors are affected in a collision, customers are suddenly faced with unfamiliar questions and important decisions, relying on claims specialists for guidance.
Enter Allstate Claims University, a new 33,000-square-foot training campus in Dallas designed to help claims professionals build expertise through immersive, hands-on learning.
This is innovation you can walk through.
At the state-of-the-art campus, claims professionals train in full-scale homes with realistic water, fire, wind and hail damage, and work with nearly 30 vehicles representing today’s evolving technologies, including electric vehicles, sensors, cameras and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Why does that matter?
As homes, vehicles and repair technologies become more sophisticated, claims become more complex. By giving our teams real-world experience before they arrive at a customer’s home or inspect a damaged vehicle, they can better understand damage, make more informed assessments, explain repair recommendations more clearly and best support customers navigating recovery.
Executive vice president and chief claims officer Mike Fiato explains that investing in Allstate Claims University starts with our people and ends with our customers. “When someone’s home is damaged by a storm or their vehicle is involved in an accident, they need more than a claim process: they need an expert. By investing in our teams, we’re helping ensure customers receive the expertise, care and confidence they need when it matters most.”
