Today is officially my first day as the Talent Lead at Agave! 🥳 I am beyond excited to join this incredibly talented team. Construction technology is an industry that literally keeps the world running and Agave is actively modernizing it with software systems built for real impact. A huge shoutout and thank you to Sean McCarthy for the intro, Nicole Sussman for guiding me through the interview process, and the incredible founding team I’ll be partnering with closely: Tom Reno, John Zucchi and Pooria Azimi. We are lean, growing and building for the long haul. We're excited to welcome Benjamin Barrett to the team as our 4th Account Executive (and 3rd Ben on the team)! 🤝 Ben lives in Baltimore with his fiancée and their dog, Princey, a retired lead sled dog. And yes, "lead sled dog" is a literal job title here: while in college in Vermont, Ben started volunteering for a local dairy farmer who raced sled dogs on the side. That turned into racing himself, and eventually co-founding a dogsled touring business. Ben spent four years managing sales, partnerships, and implementation at a startup serving small and micro service-based businesses, where he focused on selling to and supporting larger franchised and multi-location customers. When he's not working, Ben plays men's league ice hockey, golfs, hikes, skis in the winter, cooks with his fiancée, and loves traveling and finding great restaurants. Welcome, Ben! 🚀

We're excited to welcome Blake Graham to the Agave team as our newest Technical Support Engineer! ✨ Most of Blake's career has been in technical support, most recently in the construction tech space. Outside of work, Blake can usually be found tracking down live music at the coolest venues he can find. He's managed a fantasy football league for the past seven years, makes a dangerously spicy salsa, and has two Pomeranians named Chimichurri and Basil. Welcome aboard, Blake. We're so excited you're here. 🤝

We're excited to welcome our new Talent Lead, Emily Schneider! 👋 Emily comes from a recruiting background spanning both early-stage startups and larger companies. She's a Cal poly SLO grad, where she studied Philosophy and Ethics (and will happily talk metaphysics all day for as long as you'll let her). She studied abroad and worked in Berlin, spends her weekends at music festivals, and is usually mid-book. She's here to help us build the team, and we couldn't be more glad to have her.
