JAMS’ mission is to provide the highest-quality dispute resolution services to our clients and to our local, national and global communities. Our commitment and dedication are evidenced by our extensive pro bono work. Every year, our panel of distinguished neutrals contributes hundreds of hours of alternative dispute resolution sessions. JAMS understands the importance of providing aid to those in need and supports various pro bono efforts and programs. We are invested in doing good, especially for the public good.
JAMS' Commitment to Giving Back to the Community
Since its founding in 2001, the JAMS Society has been a cornerstone of JAMS company culture. Through volunteerism and community engagement, JAMS Society has fostered trust, connection, and a sense of purpose across our organization. Rooted in the compassion and commitment of our associates, and inspired by the legacy of our founder, Hon. Warren Knight, whose guiding phrase was “We Do Good,” the JAMS Society represents the best of JAMS’ collective spirit. Just as JAMS helps resolve conflict across all lines, our inclusive approach to volunteerism, programming, and leadership development reflects our broader commitment to building understanding, strengthening communities, and advancing shared purpose within and beyond JAMS. JAMS Society members around the country participate in a diverse array of volunteer and community activities, ranging from cleaning up the environment, assembling care packages, to improving the lives of youth, seniors, and students.

Living Out Our Core Value – “We Do Good” We embrace the importance of giving back and the positive impact we can make when we come together. Through our social responsibility efforts, associates have opportunities to lead, contribute, and make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Here are just a few ways JAMS associates recently put “We Do Good” into action:
- Participated in holiday giving programs
- Volunteered at local food banks
- Supported the creation of community gardens
- Supported meal programs
- Collected canned food, clothing and toys for those in need
- Created care packages and wellness kits to support vulnerable individuals and families in our communities
- Fundraised for several charitable causes, including those related to mental health, students and teacher aid, animal relief services and veteran organizations

At JAMS, we recognize the importance of an environmentally conscious workplace. We are committed to improving our sustainability through our green initiatives. If everyone who uses JAMS facilities takes part in our green initiatives, such as using reusable water bottles and eco-friendly single-use items, recycling, and properly disposing of e-waste, we can help preserve and protect the environment.
