This San Rafael front landscape has been dramatically updated with a welcoming concrete pathway entrance, and complimented by a variety of architectural plants, hardy succulents, textural grasses and a majestic, fruitless olive tree. The dramatic transformation is enhanced by a raised corten steel planter at the pathway entrance with gravel and succulents. Two horizontal ipe wood structures provide contemporary accents. New raised concrete planters alongside the new concrete driveway define the property and showcase more colorful succulents. A beautiful gray house paint color and ipe accents complete the remodel. This existing client in Farmington Hills asked us to redesign and install a new front walkway for his home. It had to go compliment the style of the home and be barrier free. So his guest would not have to step up to the porch. We created this beautiful paver ramp. It starts flat at the driveway and gradually slopes up to the front porch. Landforms Inc.

Fourth avenue modern water wise landscape features many colorful drought tolerant plants. Front yard features concrete pavers set in gravel, a circular turf type tall fescue lawn and many colorful drought tolerant perennials and ornamental grasses. Back yard features a custom fire pit with concrete seat bench and an "open ceiling". The grass was originally turf grass but switched out to artificial turf to accommodate their dog. Plants feature colorful drought tolerant perennials and ornamental grasses. Garden boxes in the right hand corner are extremely productive.
