Front garden was redesigned to allow for more parking for the family's children and to allow a path straight from the road to the front door. A new pedestrian gate and automatic gate was put in. New plants were planted below the existing liquidambar tree which has a family of owls nesting in it.

The pillars and walls flank each side of the driveway allowing the entrance to be closed by iron gates The gate entrance spans 25 meters wide and combines traditional sand cement rendered pillars and natural stones, sourced locally from within the estate. Custom Iron Gates offers both security and esthetics to the property. The natural stone walls blend nicely with the reclaimed brick house and front porch to truly set the tone of elegance and style.

The front garden of this period Edwardian property in Acton, west London, was a large expanse of concrete hard standing, and overgrown planting. The aim of the garden design was to create a garden that combined space for off-street parking for one car, architectural soft landscaping as well as a spot in which to sit and enjoy the garden. The style of the new garden had to be sympathetic to the house and it was important that the end result was more contemporary front garden than everyday driveway. Additional screening to the neigbouring boundary wall was a key requirement, as was the need to keep an existing cherry tree.
