Accessibility Statement

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including users with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments.

We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to resolve remaining gaps.

We are also evaluating WCAG 2.2 (published October 2023) and plan to address any additional requirements it introduces.

We are working toward compliance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and its implementing standard EN 301 549, which became enforceable for e-commerce services on 28 June 2025. We regularly review our platform against these standards and are committed to continuous improvement.

For users in the United States, we are committed to meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III as it applies to public-facing digital services. If you encounter any accessibility barrier, please contact us directly so we can assist you.

HelloRoam takes the following steps to support accessibility across our website and app:

• Include accessibility as part of our development and design process
• Use semantic HTML elements to convey structure and meaning
• Apply WAI-ARIA attributes where native HTML semantics are not sufficient
• Test keyboard navigation to ensure all interactive elements are reachable
• Maintain colour contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimums
• Provide text alternatives (alt text) for all meaningful non-text content
• Support browser text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or function
• Label all form inputs clearly so screen readers can identify them

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

• Some older PDF documents may not be fully structured for screen readers
• Certain third-party components (such as payment widgets) are outside our direct control and may have limited accessibility support
• Some complex interactive charts or data visualisations may lack full text alternatives

We review and address these limitations as part of our ongoing improvement work.
