Kelley Robertson was appointed to the State Court bench by Governor Brian Kemp on March 27, 2023. As a State Court Judge, Judge Robertson presides over misdemeanor criminal matters and non-equity civil cases. She also presides over the Delta Track of the Hall County HELP Court and the misdemeanor competency docket.
Judge Robertson is active in the legal community and serves on the Executive Committee of the Council of State Court Judges as District 6 Chair. She is also a member of the Orr Inn of Court.
Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Robertson served as a prosecutor in the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, including as Chief Assistant District Attorney from 2021 to 2023. She also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia.
Judge Robertson is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Georgia School of Law.
