CDAA tracks between 200 and 400 bills per year, as well as criminal justice items on state budget. The Legislation Committee is charged with developing CDAA’s legislative advocacy program by determining CDAA’s legislative priorities and selecting bills to sponsor, as well as adopting positions on pending legislation. The committee is comprised of approximately 35 prosecutors with a range of expertise.
