“The compare feature is exactly what I was asking for — being able to see where we have leads and where we have gaps, broken down by prompt. It’s very similar to what I’ve been tracking manually, but faster.”

Frequently asked questions
We are aiming to bring you more platforms in the future.
You can’t track more than 20 prompts per location. You can edit your prompts at any time, though, to add new ones or remove ones you don’t want to track.
Help Center: How to add or remove a prompt
AI search visibility is how often your brand, or location, is mentioned in the response. Or, how many times your business is cited as a source for a response.
A mention is when your brand or location is literally named in the answer.
A citation (or source) is when an LLM has used you as a reference point for information. It does not necessarily also lead to a mention.
The work you need to do for AEO is very similar to SEO, and the same can be said for local SEO. Best practice in local SEO will help you appear in answer engines as well as search.
We have created resources to help you get found in AI Search:

What makes our local AI Visibility Tracker different is that it will track mentions at your location level. This means it will compare you to your specific local competitors, and let you track location-by-location.
Every query we run is anchored to a specific location, using a similar location-first approach to our Local Rank Tracker and Local Search Grid. The results are the closest you can currently get to what someone searching in that area would see.
We also focus on identifying specific locations rather than top-level brands, along with the localized sources LLMs draw on for information: directories, local publications, and regional sites.
A traditional SERP is generally a list of website pages with titles, or a list of businesses next to a map. In answer engines the results could be a sentence, whole paragraphs, or answers next to a map.
Tradtional search engines like Google or Bing rank the websites or profiles they want to return in a fairly rigid way. Even when AI platforms return a structured response it may not be a definitive ranking.
This makes AI visibility fundamentally different to traditional search rankings.
The most importat are:
Google Business Profile
Yelp
Facebook Business
But many specific industry directories are also key.
You can find our AI directory leaderboard here.
The simplest one is to check your prompts. Are they definitely the right prompts for you to be tracking? Or were they just a guess?
The second is to start doing local SEO and AEO. We have a range of local SEO guides that can help you get started. We also have a selection of features and local SEO services to help you get the work done.
In general terms, though:
Above 75 means AI recommends you consistently and names you early.
Between 50 and 74 means you’re in the conversation but competitors are winning more of it.
Below 50 means most people asking AI about your category won’t hear your name.
