Smaller mattresses ship fully assembled in one box, but mine (a king) arrived in two boxes: One with the cover and core of the mattress, and another with the three comfort layers. The materials were rolled up and compressed and in a plastic wrap.
What was the setup like? These boxes were heavy, and admittedly, I put my husband and dad in charge of carrying them up two flights of stairs (In hindsight, I definitely should have sprung for the in-home delivery!).
