I was getting lower back pain because I'm 5'5 and my chair-table set up doesn't let my feet touch the ground. The floor is also too cold sometimes.

I wanted a leg rest that is:

1. Not too low

2. Has some soft padding - so it is warm

3. Has customizable height and can go slant or flat - I like flat for max support.

4. Not too expensive and looks good

5. Sturdy and good quality and supports my legs well

6. Doesn't slip easily or can be moved when I need to move it

Initially I bought one of those foam pillow type leg rests and it was too low for me and I didn't like it at all. I tolerated it for 6 months and realized I kept kicking it away and suffering.

Then I finally gave up and threw it and ordered this footrest - it works beautifully and meets all my requirements. I have it set flat at 3/4 of max height and my knees fit under the table, I also get the right support and height!

Perfect footrest. So good I bought a second one for my two spots at my L desk so I always have one. Super sturdy and the padding is nice and the massage surface with padding off feels great on my feet.

Works great, iv been using it for over a year and it iv never had really any problems with it. The one thing i wish was a little bit better is the release system. When adjusting the hight it can be easily to overshoot the desired setting and you have to max it all the way out and start back from the beginning to get it to go lower.

I've gone through my share of under-desk footrests, and frankly, so many of them just don't quite get the job done. They're often too limited in height, angle, or overall comfort. I'm thrilled to report that the Scalebeard Foot Rest is different – it's exactly what I needed and wanted!

This thing is the best! Love how I can adjust the tilt AND the height. Easy to use and folds up flat making it easy to store when not using. Worth the money

Felt less solid than I expected as well as I could not figure how to lock this in an upright position. Got tied of trying so sent it back.

This foot rest is very adjustable. I got it mostly because my office chair is just a touch too high to have my feet flat on the ground, so I was hoping this would help. My complaint is that it could be a bit wider. I don't sit with my legs tightly together at my desk, and I think an extra couple inches on both sides would make this more comfortable to use. It also tends to slide on the floor. This foot rest is *very* lightweight (it's made of light plastic) and the little anti-skid pads they give you to stick on the bottom do next to nothing. Unless your legs are perfectly centered over the top, you'll probably end up pushing this away from you under the desk.

I also tend to run into issues with the flat platform. My office chair, like most, has 5 legs that protrude from a single stem base with wheels on each leg. Because this stand sits flat on the ground, the legs tend to bump into it, so it can be difficult to maneuver into the right position. If it had a gap underneath it (like a typical stool) I might be able to position it so that the legs of the chair slide underneath it, but instead it just bumps into the foot rest and tends to push it just a touch further in front of the chair than would be ergonomically ideal.

If you want this foot rest to stay in place, you may need to use some double sided carpet tape or something, or perhaps somehow weight it down. It might work fine for some, but it's not an ideal footrest for me.

Nur bedingt einsetzbar. Nach dem Aufstellen erst mal eine schöne Nase voll Chemie nehmen und dann im Betrieb recht fummelig und wenig ergonomisch unter dem Schreibtisch. Verstellt sich auch recht schnell und liefert daher keine lang anhaltenden Ergebnisse.

This is really overpriced for what it is. It's just blown plastic (milk jug HDPE plastic) with some metal locking bars, and a fake leather cushion on the top. It seems fairly sturdy, but is very awkward to adjust. You will need to take it from under the desk, adjust it, and then just leave it in a spot you prefer.

The only reason I bought this was to stop using my speaker subwoofer as a footrest. It fixes that issue, and I probably won't need to buy another one in the future.

I use this for office work and really enjoy. Makes a huge difference.
