    Averaging is for wimps, why not show *all* the data: x-axis is the 2035 months in HadCRUT4, y axis is the 2592 5x5 degree grid cells (ordered by their geohash, so nearby cells together - sometimes).

    I love Ed's . But I can't help thinking, "Why have something simple and elegant, when you could have something complex and messy?" So I've gone full Hovmöller. (1850-2018. HadCRUT4.6 temperature anomaly from 1961-1990 reference period.)

    This is the annual average temperatures in Brazil from 1901 to 2018, according to Berkeley Earth data. Climate change is in front of our eyes - to deny it is a crime against the planet. The scale of destruction is up to our political leaders.
