    Years it took us to drive up CO2 by 10 ppm: 320 → 330: 12 330 → 340: 8 340 → 350: 6 350 → 360: 7 360 → 370: 6 370 → 380: 5 380 → 390: 5 390 → 400: 5 400 → 410: 4 That’s making the climate crisis worse faster.

    When the construction of Finland's Olkiluoto 3 nuclear reactor started I'v 2005, the world had 5 GW of solar PV. Now that has grown 100 times, to 500 GW, and Olkiluoto 3 still isn't ready.

    With the ongoing flooding in the north of England, we’re working hard to ensure our substations are protected. 45 colleagues have set up 1.5km of temporary flood defences and placed over 2000 sandbags at Thorpe Marsh near Doncaster.

    Everybody knows that the present stated policies are not good enough; that's why the has a 'ratcheting up' mechanism for the national contributions to the required emission reduction. But this way, crashing-the-planet scenarios are branded as 'realism', and ..

    How IEA scenarios work in the media: title "Main role in 2040 will still be for fossil fuels". Graph shows this is based on the Stated Policies Scenario, which is totally out of line with the . Only lower left graph shows there's a sustainable alternative. ()
