Is the WAButton WhatsApp button free?

Yes. The Free plan never expires and needs no credit card. You get one button with full design control, one team member, up to 10,000 visitors a month, greetings, business hours and email alerts. A small WAButton badge shows on the widget; the Agency plan removes it.

How do I add the button to my website?

Copy the installation code from your WAButton dashboard and paste it into your website. Our setup guides show where to put it on Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Wix, Webflow and custom sites.

How does the button load on my website?

The initial script is under 40KB compressed and loads without blocking your page content. The chat panel loads when someone opens it.

Do I need WhatsApp Business?

No. The button opens a normal WhatsApp chat with your number, so it works with the regular WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Business. You don't need the WhatsApp Business API and there are no per-message fees.

Can I collect customer details before opening WhatsApp?

Yes. On Pro and Agency, add a form that asks for a name, email and question. WAButton saves the answers in your dashboard and opens WhatsApp with the details filled in. The visitor still needs to send the message.

Can visitors choose who to contact?

Yes, on Starter and above. Add team members with their own name, photo and role, such as Sales, Support or Billing. Visitors pick who they want to talk to and reach that person directly.

What is a WhatsApp button?

A WhatsApp button opens a chat with your business from your website. With WAButton, you choose the design and greeting, show your hours and add team contacts or customer forms, depending on your plan.

What is WhatsApp click to chat?

Click to chat is WhatsApp's way to open a chat using a wa.me link without first saving the phone number. WAButton uses these links to open WhatsApp when a visitor chooses to chat.
