Reflecting on what inspired her to become an Ambassador, Michelle shared: "I joined after being given a scholarship to attend the Women in Games Conference in London. While I worked in the games industry in Taiwan and the Philippines, I was often the only female programmer in the company. What can a game teach us? More than we might imagine. From African storytelling to flight simulations and artificial intelligence, games are opening new possibilities for how we learn, explore and understand the world. It is a question close to Structura’s work, which spans training, the critical reading of interactive works and applied games for education and culture. At The Games Forum Roma, organised by Women in Games and Structura, it becomes a panel: “Three Continents, Three Perspectives: Games, Gamification and AI for Learning”. Three approaches to education through games and technology: Christian Mokuba, CEO & Co-Founder of Bonobo Entertainment, presents KAMA, a project connecting narrative gameplay with African history and culture. Aditya Soni, Founder/Director of Owster Labs, explores how aircraft design and flight simulation can turn mathematics into practical, interactive challenges. Prof. Carlo Maria Medaglia, IUL University, brings an academic perspective on educational innovation and artificial intelligence. The conversation will be moderated by Valentina Marchetti, Creative Strategist and Holistic Practitioner at ASTERA Welldoing Wellbeing, with nearly two decades of experience in the games industry. What happens when we stop seeing games as just entertainment and start exploring what they can teach us? 12-13 November 2026 | Villa Mondragone, Rome Discover the programme and register: thegamesforumroma.eu

Climbing mountains is always better with good company. And perhaps the same goes for building a career in gaming! Together with Gulnara Abdulina, we took a wonderful group of industry colleagues, partners, and friends on a Women in Games Ambassador-led hike in the hills overlooking Limassol. A little change of scenery, meaningful conversations, and a reminder of how important it is to have a supportive community around you. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, to Gulnara Abdulina for always inspiring me and turning ideas like this into reality, and to AXLEBOLT for supporting purpose-driven initiatives that make a real difference in our gaming community! And of course, thanks to Women in Games for connecting and inspiring so many amazing Ambassadors around the world! ❤️ #Axlebolt #WomenInGames #GamingCommunity #Cyprus
