One of Seedcamp's most exciting physical AI companies is scaling data collection and looking for an SF-based operator to lead the following activities👇 - Work with real-world sites (factories, warehouses, retail, etc) - Run vendor partnerships and execute logistics in the real world - Collaborate with robotics companies to deliver huge volumes of the highest quality video data 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 / 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭-𝐢𝐧-𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 📽️ Ping me if this sounds like you!

  • European companies are building in the US faster than ever. A US office used to come late in a company’s life. Now many of the founders we back treat the US as a core market from day one. It’s where their largest customers often are, where much of the growth capital sits, and where they hire the sales teams that will take their companies global. We think the strongest European companies of this generation will be transatlantic early. We built Fund VII around that view, and raised our Select fund alongside it to keep backing our breakout companies as they grow toward Series B and beyond and continue to scale globally. Since the launch in June, more of our founders have put that thesis into practice: 📈 Metaview, led by Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, raised $60m from Insight Partners and has expanded into New York ⚒️ Pari Singh’s Flow Engineering raised $50m from Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management, LP and keeps scaling in San Francisco 🎬 Synthesia, founded by Victor Riparbelli and Steffen Tjerrild, opened a new US headquarters in New York, taking around 50,000 sq ft in the Flatiron District 🩺 Jonathan Swerdlin and the Function Health team ranked #7 on LinkedIn’s 2026 Top Startups list for the US 🏢 Dust, co-founded by Gabriel Hubert and Stanislas Polu, opened its first UK office in London, adding to its teams in Paris and the US 🌆 Steven Hunter and Huss E.’s 9fin is hiring its first ever CMO in New York, after doubling ARR year over year and passing 350 institutional clients 🌉 Next stop is San Francisco, where our team will be on the ground throughout November to meet founders as a group and one on one. Our New York team works with founders on the ground every week, from customer introductions to finding the right US office to mapping the US strategic landscape. If you’re a European founder with global ambitions, we want to hear from you. cc Reshma Sohoni Hilary Howe Andy Wang

  • Not many founders get told that their company saved someone's life. Jonathan Swerdlin has. Jonathan founded Function Health because most people only deal with healthcare once something has gone wrong. By then, a problem that could have been caught early may already be hard to treat. When he tried to learn more about his own health, he spent thousands of dollars and hours going from doctor to doctor. Function exists to change this. They offer advanced lab testing, imaging and clear guidance on what to do next, so they can act on early signals instead of waiting for symptoms. Jonathan is careful about what that means: "We did not invent a cure. We give people information, agency, and the opportunity to act earlier." We spoke to him about why preventative medicine has been so hard to access, and why healthcare is the hardest industry to build in, and the most rewarding.

Waniwani is hiring! And we put our motto in the middle of Times Square, because that's where AI distribution belongs. Personal agents adoption is through the roof. Muse, Instinct, Dots, and now Anthropic with Duet. They are fundamentally reshaping how insurers and banks distribute their products. Financial Services companies are being forced to react: Insurify and JP Morgan blocking personal agents, Meta and Sierra announcing a protocol to take back control... The AI distribution market is heating up. And Waniwani is at the core. If you want to build a category leader, now is the time. We're hiring across all roles → Enterprise Account Executive · New York and Paris → Founding Growth · New York or Paris → Founding Partnerships Lead · New York → Forward Deployment Strategist · New York and Paris If you know exceptional people, send them our way! • A single property maintenance request can involve an email, a property record, a contract and an invoice, each handled by a different tool. This workflow depends on people manually copying information across, constantly switching between systems. It’s incredibly inefficient, and it’s very easy to get things wrong.   Today, we’re backing Vessla, as they emerge from stealth with a $3.3M pre-seed round, alongside Inception Fund, Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, operators from Lovable and OpenAI, founders including Lukas Saari and Fredrik Hjelm, and a series of angel investors. Vessla provides a shared AI platform, capable of automating workflows across the systems already used by residential and commercial property owners and managers. This provides the foundation for an operating system connecting leasing, building operations and investment planning, with agents identifying opportunities to grow income and reduce costs. The team has a stellar pedigree building and deploying AI in world class companies. CTO Kasper Janehag started in the space industry, working on NASA’s Mars 2020 mission, and later led enterprise AI transformations at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey. Chief Scientist Arash Dabiri built and evaluated agentic AI applications at Andon Labs and QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey. CEO Orman Gazvini advised major software companies at McKinsey and worked in strategy and M&A at Pophouse Entertainment. The wider team adds experience from Legora, Stanford University and Netlight. Founded earlier this year, Vessla is already working with some of the Nordics’ largest commercial and residential property owners and operators. We're proud to back them from day one.

  • For decades, innovation in engineering has meant simply selling software to engineers. Solvera is going one step further by rebuilding the firm itself. Today, we're thrilled to lead Solvera's $6.3M pre-seed round. Solvera combines cutting-edge technology with full responsibility for the client outcomes. AI agents carry out much of the work, while experienced engineers bring their judgement and put their names to every deliverable. Unlike traditional delivery models, the system gets better with every project, as that judgement is turned into intelligence that can be reused across the firm. The market has responded quickly. Launched in July 2026, Solvera already has passed $1M in contracted revenue, and is working on several commercial projects in Norway. Arif Mirza, Cofounder and CEO: "Technology is only part of the answer. To capture its full potential, you also have to rethink how the firm operates and how it makes money. We are building the engineering firm itself around AI.” Tom Wilson, Partner at Seedcamp: "We invested in Solvera because Arif, Thorvald and Pål are not just building software for engineers, they are rebuilding the firm itself. That is a much bigger swing, and a much better one."

  • After a decade in payments, Gabriel Le Roux watched the merchants he worked with grow more sophisticated, while payment providers struggled to keep up. With merchants left stitching providers together, he knew someone had to build the solution. The result is Primer: one platform that brings all of a merchant’s payment providers and methods together, with tools to accept more payments, cut costs, manage risk and better understand their payments data. Fresh off a $100m Series C earlier this year, Gabriel sat down with us for the latest Field Notes. He talks about how Primer started, why the problem they set out to solve is only becoming more urgent, and the power of bringing simplicity to a fragmented industry. • When the etn. crew asked Carlos Eduardo Espinal MBE what he's most excited about right now, he didn't hesitate: AI adoption in the workplace. Carlos reckons that about 80% of workplaces haven't quite figured AI out yet. Most companies are years away from using it effectively. That means there's a huge opportunity for products that help drive enterprise adoption and reduce risk. Two Seedcamp companies working on this right now: 🦾 PAIR, founded by James Kuht MBE, trains teams to use AI inside their daily work, driving real, measurable adoption across large organisations. Customers include PwC and the Ministry of Justice UK. 🍰 Cakewalk, founded by Johannes Keienburg (PhD), lets companies deploy AI safely by giving them full visibility of how it's being used, employee by employee. •   If you've spent any time on LinkedIn (and we're assuming that you have), there's a good chance that tl;dv - AI Meeting Assistant is one of the few companies that has made you laugh. The AI meeting assistant has built one of the most recognisable voices in B2B software through deeply silly, ironic sketches and memes about corporate life. For example, they once promoted their entire team of more than 50 people to CEO on the same day, hijacking the newsfeed through a wave of "new job" notifications. Marketers now hold it up as the gold standard for B2B branding, proof that social media can be a real growth lever, even for ostensibly corporate products. For tl;dv, humour is very much a means to an end. tl;dv optimises for engagement in everything, starting with its product, which makes meetings digestible and relevant by turning hours of calls into pithy summaries, searchable transcripts and short clips that people actually watch. We spoke to co-founder and CEO Raphael Allstadt about the moment he decided to found a company, what changes when a scrappy startup starts to scale, and the best advice he's been given by investors. September has been busy for Seedcamp, to say the least 🏃 Here's what's happened across the portfolio: ▸ Penelope Health closed a $100M commitment from Thoreau, with participation from BHI - Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments and Twine Ventures. We've been with Sohum and Mattijs since the beginning, and they even spent their early days as residents at Seedcamp HQ. ▸ Metaview raised a $60M Series C. Shahriar and Siadhal are building the future of agentic recruiting, and we're proud to have supported them in every round since day one. ▸ Flow Engineering raised a $50M Series B. We've backed Pari for almost a decade, and we're thrilled to see them drive forward Physical AI. ▸ Rayon.design raised a €10M Series A to build AI tools for interior design. We led their pre-seed in 2022, and we've backed Bastien and Stanislas all the way. ▸ Opio raised €4M to automate financial due diligence. Tristan and Olivier have already seen an incredible response from the market, with Forvis Mazars Group and BDO as early clients. ▸ Revolut won conditional approval from the OCC for a US national bank charter. It's a major step towards launching as a standalone US bank in 2027. We first backed Revolut over a decade ago, and it's been incredible to watch them earn trust market by market. ▸ Synthesia launched Sessions: scalable, two-way conversations with lifelike AI avatars that let people practice critical conversations, gather deeper insight, and get expert guidance on demand. ▸ Arcjet launched agent runtime security. It tracks what AI agents do once they're running in production. Security teams can see which agents are active, and every action can be checked against policy before it goes through. ▸ Memories.ai welcomed former Qualcomm Chief Commercial Officer Jim Cathey as an advisor. ▸ 9fin launched their first film, documenting their journey from frustrated financial workers to building next-gen AI tools for credit. Proud to be day one supporters of Steven and Huss! Here's to an exciting Q4! 🌱❤️ cc Reshma Sohoni Carlos Eduardo Espinal MBE Tom Wilson Sia Houchangnia Felix Martinez Will Bennett Antonia Whitecourt Hilary Howe Andy Wang
