Helping people dive into new skills 🏊 Our West Midlands team were delighted to support the Marlin Sub-Aqua Club in Nuneaton with a £1,200 donation from the Miller Homes Community Fund. The funds will help the volunteer-run club upgrade its breathing gas compressor, enabling safe scuba training for divers of all levels. Martin Maple, diving officer for Marlin Sub-Aqua Club, explained why our donation will benefit its users. He said: “This will help our volunteers continue to teach scuba diving safely to people in Nuneaton, a life skill which is both a brilliant hobby and an incredibly important, potentially life-saving skill to possess.” We’re proud to support local groups like Marlin Sub-Aqua Club, helping people learn new skills and enjoy activities that bring the community together! #ScubaDiving #Nuneaton #WestMidlands #CommunitySupport #Wellbeing

Our Yorkshire team were delighted to visit Bessacarr Primary School recently to share the news that they’ve been awarded £1,250 from the Miller Homes Community Fund, helping to enhance their outdoor play and learning space 🌿 Outdoor learning plays such an important role in children’s development, and it was great to hear more about the school’s exciting plans and the creative ways they engage pupils through outdoor activities. Miller Homes South Midlands has successfully completed the purchase of land in Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire. This residential-led project will see the delivery of 150 high-quality new homes at our newly named Orchard View development, featuring a mix of two to four-bedroom private homes, and 53 affordable properties. Orchard View will offer the best of both worlds: a rural village setting with easy access to Knebworth, Stevenage and Welwyn, local amenities on the doorstep and green open space – including a new community orchard for residents to enjoy. Construction work commence shortly following the site’s acquisition, with thanks to Sworders, Gladman, Gateley, and Longmores Solicitors. The final totals are in and we’re incredibly proud to share that in 2025 our teams across the country raised £270,000 for charity! This achievement reflects the passion, energy and generosity of our people. The total was raised through fundraising by employees, from marathons and physical challenges to bake sales and seasonal charity days, as well as through corporate match funding, helping to maximise the impact of every pound raised. The £270,000 will be shared between our national charity partner, Groundwork, and the 13 charities chosen by employees across our regions and throughout the business in 2025. Each of these organisations plays a vital role in supporting communities in the areas where we build homes. We are immensely proud of every employee who took part, donated, organised and cheered others on. Our Scotland West team is proud to announce its latest land acquisition in Hamilton, securing a 7.5-acre site that will deliver 64 high-quality new homes. This new site is a milestone for the Scotland West team, as they celebrate 25 years of building thriving new communities across South Lanarkshire. Maplebrook will offer a selection of three, four and five-bedroom energy-efficient homes, designed for modern living. Our Teesside, North East, West Midlands and South West teams are proud to have recently completed their first volunteering days of 2026 in partnership with Groundwork. Organised as part of our charity partnership, colleagues spent time helping Groundwork maintain and improve outdoor spaces that will enable even more children and families to benefit from the Wellies in the Woods programme. This fantastic national initiative helps under-fives build confidence, language and early literacy skills through outdoor play and exploration. It’s been a great way to start the year, and we’re looking forward to many more volunteering activities planned across our regions throughout 2026.
