  • Looking to build your career in casualty and corporate claims? We asked Dayne Daisy, Senior Associate in our Casualty and Corporate Claims team, why he joined and what makes the work stand out. From acting for major insurers to handling high-value, complex and catastrophic injury claims, Dayne was drawn to the firm’s reputation, quality of clients and pragmatic approach to litigation. “It’s fast-paced and constantly changing. You need to stay dynamic and proactive at all times. It’s challenging, but that’s also what makes the role so engaging.” If you’re interested in complex, multi-party litigation, real responsibility and a team that focuses on practical results, this could be the right move. • We are delighted to welcome Kennedys’ Australian 2026 Graduate Cohort who have commenced their programs across our Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth offices this week. • Lauren Gosnell, Partner and Manchester lead of our Serious and Catastrophic Injury team, shares her reflections on progression, leadership and returning to work during the pandemic in a recent episode of the If You Ask Me podcast. The conversation explores workplace culture in practice and creating environments where family commitments are acknowledged, not hidden. Thank you to BlueSky, and hosts Hannah Bradshaw and Sarah Lyons for facilitating such an open and thoughtful discussion.

Is visibility after maternity leave about being everywhere or being intentional? In this episode of If You Ask Me, we are joined by Lauren Gosnell, Partner at Kennedys and Manchester lead of the firm’s Serious and Catastrophic Injury team. Lauren discusses her route into law, her progression to partnership and the growth of her team. She reflects on becoming a mother, returning from maternity leave during the pandemic, and how that period influenced her confidence and sense of identity at work. The conversation considers visibility after maternity leave and how to be intentional with what you say yes to, rather than trying to be everywhere. Lauren talks about setting boundaries, modelling flexibility and supporting colleagues through similar transitions. This episode will resonate with anyone interested in navigating career progression alongside parenthood and with leaders reflecting on how workplace culture is shaped in practice. • We’ve launched a new case studies series, designed to highlight the work we do for clients and the outcomes we help them achieve. The first case study highlights a recent US matter where our team successfully defended clients against complex fraud allegations under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. As the year gathers pace, it’s a good moment to focus on the work we do for clients and the outcomes we help them achieve. That’s why we’ve launched a new case study series at Kennedys. The aim is simple: to share clear examples of how we support clients on complex matters, and the results delivered by our teams. Our first case study focuses on a successful defence against serious fraud allegations brought under the US EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. It’s a strong example of how our teams handle high-stakes, cross-border disputes, protecting both commercial and reputational interests. More to come over the year. https://lnkd.in/e4mwGwpP
