  • Big celebrations for REKA today! 🍄 After 2 years in Early Access, many playtests, some gorgeous seasonal content updates, countless hours spent bug fixing, and a few fun trips to Berlin to chat with the talented dev team... REKA has launched into 1.0 on Steam! A massive round of applause to the wonderful people at Emberstorm Entertainment, it's been a pleasure working with you all and we've loved seeing how much REKA has improved and grown over the last couple years. We're sitting at 92% positive for recent reviews and that really reflects the effort that has gone in to this latest update. As always, a big thanks to all our internal team members and industry friends who have worked so hard to reach this milestone. Everybody who has collaborated with us on this project has been invaluable. With autumn in full swing and the weather totally miserable, now's the time to jump into a Slavic folklore-inspired cozy game where you can build your own chicken-legged cottage (plus it's 35% off on Steam!). Grab some fluffy socks and stick the kettle on, Baba Jaga is waiting... #indiegame #gamesindustry

  • A first in Fireshine Games history… We're thrilled to announce Fair Games is officially part of the Fireshine family! Developers of the fantastic open world adventure, Necesse, Fair Games has joined our team for a collaboration we've been super excited to talk about. Not only are we publishing a successful and well-reviewed indie game, but we're also welcoming a talented dev team on board too. Over the last few years, we've been growing our portfolio of survival crafters, and zeroing in on online multiplayer titles like Core Keeper, Isle Goblin, Len's Island, Voyagers of Nera, and Dawn of Defiance. While we love all indie games, especially the gorgeous wacky ones (hello Denshattack!), we're really passionate about the open world exploration genre. Partnering with Fair Games will allow us to share knowledge, bounce ideas around, and ultimately, support the developers on growing an already incredible game. We'll be helping to bring Necesse to more platforms, as well as focusing on big updates for the PC version. Necesse has approximately 2.5 million players, and we can't wait to see this game grow even more. It's been an amazing year so far for us at Fireshine Games, from the brilliant launches of Far Far West, Denshattack!, and Duskfade, to signing creative gems like Food Truck Empire, Husk Protocol, and AEROMACHINA. As always, a big thank you to everybody who has contributed to making these milestones happen. The news today is the cherry on top of an already fantastic 2026. So, please join us in welcoming Fair Games as part of the official Fireshine gang! It's great to have you with us. 👋

  • It's been a week full of positive news for Denshattack! 🥳 Not only did we hit 300,000 players across PC and console, but Denshattack! has also been nominated for FOUR gamescom awards! We're nominees in the Best Gameplay, Best Switch 2 Game, Best Audio, and Most Entertaining categories. A big thanks to everybody who has worked on this title with us, it's been 6 weeks since launch and the momentum is still going! As always, a huge round of applause to the talented dev team at Undercoders, it's been such a blast watching all the reviews come in. Denshattack! has been a fantastic project for the Fireshine team, and we can't wait to see what's next. #indiegame #gamesindustry

  • We received this trophy from our super talented trailer editor this morning, alongside a whole bunch of handmade Zelda-themed goodies that made our jaws drop! While it might not be an 'official' award, this has made our whole week, and reminds us how much we love working with real people. The wonderful artists, editors, copywriters, and freelancers that we collaborate with add so much spark and originality to our projects. In a world where generative AI is growing, we hope that the games industry will continue to support creatives. ⭐ #indiegames #gamesindustry

  • Denshattack! has launched on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2! 🥳 A huge congrats to the team at Undercoders for developing such a unique, creative, and incredibly polished game. Since the first moment we heard about the concept of Denshattack!, we were hooked by how wacky and fun it sounded. Denshattack! has the charm of old school video games like Jet Set Radio and Sonic the Hedgehog, and it's been an amazing journey working with the devs on this project. Another shoutout to the team at Kid Katana Records for helping us secure such an insane soundtrack! So many talented people have contributed to Denshattack!'s music, including Tee Lopes, Andrew One, and Sean Bialo, with guest contributions from a bunch of industry legends. And as always, a big thank you to everybody who has been involved, our industry pals and partners and the Fireshine team themselves. From announcing with Geoff Keighley during Gamescom Opening Night Live, to opening the Nintendo March Indie World Showcase with a brand new trailer and launching a massive influencer campaign, it's been a rollercoaster of hard work and success. We can't wait to see what's next! For in-office celebrations we had a Denshattack! train cake, and we all wore matching t-shirts... Now we're enjoying reading through all the rave reviews! #gamingindustry #indiegame

  • Fireshine Games reposted this

A few exciting studio updates! We’re over the moon to announce that we’ve signed a publishing deal with Fireshine Games, and our current (still unannounced) game is now fully funded 🎉 To kick off full production, we’re also super thrilled to welcome Sylvia Chong and Daniel Bower to the team! And also, a huge, huge thank you to VicScreen for their continued support as we move into production, and to Screen Australia for for their funding and support in helping us get to this point! We can't wait to share more when we're finally able to talk about the game!

  • It's always great to be involved and supporting this fantastic cause! If you're able to, you can donate to Special Effect here: https://lnkd.in/emV6Sah7 ⚽ All donations are super appreciated! We'll also be at Develop Brighton again this year, and we hope to see many of our industry friends! 🏖️ DEVELOP BRIGHTON UPDATE 🚨 After a frankly interminable June, I'm very excited to be heading back to Brighton for one of my favourite events of the year, Develop Conference! Sophie and I will be about to discuss the usual topics, squeeze in some good food, and bring a raft of optimism in an otherwise occasionally bleak-looking industry right now! We've had our busiest year of our fledgling journey as an agency and publisher and we'd love to chew your ear off about what we've been up to and what we could be working on next. Also, we're hosting a kickabout in aid of SpecialEffect. The football is full up but please feel free to donate to our fundraiser and support the wonderful work they do! Special thanks to Sean and the folks at Fireshine Games for their support, thanks to their sponsorship we've been able to organise a coach back from the event for attendees, as well as some shiny new trophies and equipment! https://lnkd.in/eqeHcR9A
