  • We are proud to have supported this incredible initiative through the BC Partners Foundation! Congratulations to City Pay it Forward and City AM on delivering such a tangible outcome and helping to improve financial literacy education. Find out more about City Pay it Forward at www.citypayitforward.com or on the campaign at www.yearsixdividend.com.

Amazing result. We successfully raised over £175,000 to donate to London primary schools to prioritize financial literacy education. At City Pay it Forward, we saw a clear gap in financial literacy within the education system and decided to act. Providing it for free was not enough. The subject is not statutory, the school day is already crowded, and research suggests many teachers lack the confidence to engage with it. Our solution: offer a £1,000 grant to any London-based state-funded primary school that uses our three-part, award-winning curriculum, complete with everything a teacher needs to effectively teach this important life skill. This means 175 grants, 175 primary schools teaching the program to over 10,000 Year Six students. Both City Pay it Forward and City AM provided the curriculum and support for the campaign free of charge so that all money raised flows directly to schools. A huge thank you to our sponsors who took a leadership role in bringing this campaign to life, including Schroders, Barings, Nuveen, a TIAA company, Fidelity International, Janus Henderson Investors, Aviva Investors, Acasta Partners, Foresters Financial, BC Partners, Canaccord Wealth, The Association of Investment Companies (AIC), Edison Group, KingsRock Advisors. Together with our partners at City AM, we believe this approach can begin to reshape how the business community supports the education sector. This is how we make social impact in a granular, measurable way. A huge thank you to the fantastic City AM team for all the help, support and encouragement, including Harry Owen, Christian May, Lawson Muncaster, Rupert Hargreaves and Sophie Pearce. Thank you in particular to Neil Blankstone. Learn more about our work at City Pay it Forward at www.citypayitforward.com or on the campaign at www.yearsixdividend.com. We look forward to celebrating this milestone at the City Awards in Guildhall on 6 May. • We are proud to share that BC Partners has been named winner of the 'Benelux Deal of the Year’ award at Real Deals’ Private Equity Awards 2026, in recognition of our partnership with Synthon.   This award is a testament to BC Partners’ approach to building better businesses within sub-sectors we know incredibly well. Real Deals pointed to Synthon’s strong organic growth, capex-led value creation, and strategic execution - including margin improvement, commercial enhancements, and successful international expansion under BC Partners’ ownership.   Following the sale of our majority stake in Synthon in December 2024, BC Partners retained a minority stake in the business, reflecting our continued conviction in Synthon’s growth and performance.   Congratulations to both the BC Partners and Synthon teams, and everyone involved! • Last year, BC Partners acquired a majority stake in premium animal health brand PetLabCo. With a strong track record in the animal health sector — including investments in PetSmart and Chewy — we are able to find innovative, fast-growing businesses shaping the future of pet care, which led us to PetLabCo. Now, we’re partnering with founder Christopher Masanto and the management team to help scale the business — combining their entrepreneurial vision with our experience building and growing category leaders. 🎥 Hear more from BC Partners’ Michael Chang in our latest video:

  • BC Partners' Stefano Ferraresi recently sat down with Real Deals to discuss the opportunities and complexities of the Italian market, where BC Partners has been investing for nearly forty years. As Real Deals explains: for sponsors who have learned to navigate family dynamics, governance expectations and regional nuance in Italy, the pipeline is deepening. For those who haven't, Italy remains exactly what it has always been: rewarding to those who understand it but largely closed to those who don't. Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/eSn7pA25

This month, we closed the acquisition of a majority stake in Fortidia — a leading global platform providing shipping, fulfilment, and marketing services. Fortidia is a great demonstration of BC Partners’ sourcing engine in action. Our long-standing reputation for working successfully alongside entrepreneurs and families, our deep roots and credentials in Italy, and our track record of accelerating growth and transforming route-based service platforms — including GFL, GardaWorld, and GES — combined to make us the partner of choice for Fortidia. It is also a clear example of a “defensive growth” business: a resilient business model, a strong franchise network, and a compelling trajectory. Hear the full overview of our investment in Fortidia from BC Partners’ Paolo Notarnicola and Marco Castelli below.
