In 2017 I built the first DeFi Oracle on Ethereum at MakerDAO for DAI. I never could have imagined how far we would go. Today, Chronicle is the 2nd largest Oracle, securing $10+ billion dollars. I’m so proud of the team, without whom none of this would be possible!

Excited to announce that Chronicle raised $12M in Seed Funding, led by @strobefund, to build infrastructure for the next wave of institutional adoption. 🧵

Tokenization isn’t verification. $12.3B of the tokenized assets we studied still relies on trust in the underlying holdings, not proof. DeFi needs to verify what it builds on. That’s why we built Chronicle Proof of Asset.

Only 29.2% of tokenized assets are verifiably transparent. $12.3 billion is asking for trust. These are the findings in Chronicle’s new report, where we evaluated 20 of the largest tokenized assets against five measurable dimensions of transparency. Read the full report:

Let’s not repeat the mistakes of the past. DEX as an oracle has proven time and time again vulnerable to manipulation. Oracles are core infrastructure.

I think the opposite is true, and finance moving onchain is bullish for @chainlink, @ChronicleLabs, and oracles in general. More finance moving onchain means more price discovery happens onchain, but it doesn't eliminate the need for oracles. At the end of the day, a price from

I'm not an oracle expert at all but isn't this actually bearish chainlink? I think finance moving onchain means you can use chain native prices from different pools & order books to construct price feeds as needed rather than using an external oracle like chainlink Chainlink

Check your misogyny at the door. Plenty of “male”-led companies have been hacked by DPRK. I’ve never met Gracy or Cindy but @kaledora is the real deal. She earned her place 100%.
