Our mother has been quite happy with the activities from traveling in a hot air balloon to enjoying an Alaskan Cruise or a Hawaiian winter Luau; from playing bingo to taking art classes - each day is filled with activities for all to enjoy. Often times family members are invited to participate. The personal care plans are designed with the needs of each resident in mind. To show how the Garden House staff reaches out to family, most recently they hosted an event where we were invited to participate in an exercise where we underwent an exercise where we were able to see what those afflicted with memory loss and dementia experience daily. It was quite eye opening and certainly gave me new perspectives of what many seniors must endure.
