Important: To control Google Slides presentations in Google Meet, you need to sign in to an eligible work or school account. You're not currently signed in to an account. Learn more about work or school accounts.
If you’re using Google Meet on an eligible work or school account, you can control Google Slides presentations from within a Google Meet video meeting. You can also make other people in the video meeting co-presenters.
Feature availability:
- Certain work or school accounts
- Chrome browser
- On desktop.
- In a Chrome tab, open the Slides file you want to present.
- In a different Chrome tab, open Google Meet and join a video meeting.
- At the bottom of the meeting screen, click Present now

- Select the tab with a Slides presentation. Click Share.
- In Google Meet, at the bottom right, click Start slideshow.
- You can control the slideshow with options at the bottom, below the presentation:
- To go to the next or previous slide, click the arrow buttons.
- To jump to a specific slide, click the slide number, then choose from the list.
- To choose co-presenter(s), click Add a co-presenter
. Next to the person you want to select, click More

- To open links or play media, click Slides media and hyperlink controls
- To see more options click More
- To show or hide speaker notes panel click
- To copy the presentation link, click
- To share the presentation in Google Meet chat click
- Exit slideshow
