From November 1, 2026, Autopay adds a low volume fee of 2 USD to each affiliate payout under 25 USD, in the store currency (for example 2 EUR for each payout under 20 EUR). A payout threshold at or above that limit avoids it on monthly payouts. Autopay includes 1099 forms for eligible U.S. affiliates. See payout methods and fees.

How do I move an existing affiliate program?
Import your affiliates by CSV, or rebuild the program in the app. CSV import depends on your Shopify plan, store age, and subscription. Read the migration guide or contact the team for help.
Do affiliates need a separate account?
No. Affiliates use your store's customer accounts to join your program and see their dashboard.
Can I set different commission rates?
Set a default rate on every plan. Basic adds multiple affiliate groups. Pro adds product and collection commissions. Premium adds automatic group changes.
What happens after my free trial?
Basic and Pro have a 14-day trial, and Premium has 7 days. After the trial, Shopify bills your plan every 30 days unless you cancel or switch to Starter. See all plans and limits.
What can Claude or ChatGPT do with my program?
