Watching the viral butt face toy, Chester Cheeks, take off like wildfire this year has me feeling sorry for a toy that's arguably cuter and just as ridiculous. I am here to stan for Fart Monsters, which emit bodily noises and silly smells just like the the Minion Fart Blaster Toy but also manage to be cute and cuddly. Behold!
A Fart Monster is a whoopie cushion inside, a soft plush monster wrap outside. The whoopie cushion is self-inflating, so you can sit on it again and again. Fizzler has a lime scent that releases each time someone sits on it—and naturally, that's accompanied by a fart sound. Ages 3+
Granted, a Fart Monster costs $10 more than Chester Cheeks or the Minions & Monsters Far Blaster. But it's battery-free and kid-powered, so I'd argue that it will cost you less in the long run.
Fart Monsters come in green (named Fizzler) with a lime scent, pink (named Squeeky) with a bubble gum scent, and purple (Cheeky) with a grape scent. The company, Scentco, also does non-farting plush, like a s'more "Smillow" that smells like marshmallow.

Let's just say that Fart Monsters are seat-sized.Marisa LaScala
Potty humor is a phase that most kids go through. Then again, some people stay in that groove and still delight in it as adults, which make Fart Monsters equally great gag gifts for some grown-ups. (Grandpa!) I would also nominate this for any Secret Santa or White Elephant exchange.
The brand says the scent will last at least two years. The farting noises last seemingly forever, as the whoopie cushion is, in our estimation, robust.
