Aldi's Pumpkin Pie Dog Toy Gives Your Pup Something to Be Thankful For
The whole house smells like a miracle, everyone keeps vanishing into the kitchen, and the family member who's been supervising dinner prep for six straight hours somehow doesn't get a seat at the table. You'd think that kind of dedication would earn at least a dinner roll.
Enter Aldi's Heart to Tail Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Dog Toy, your pup's very own dessert, no sharing required. It's a pumpkin pie-shaped plaything that lets dogs join the festivities without anyone having to explain why the real pie is off-limits—a remarkably civilized arrangement, considering who's involved.
Heart to Tail Thanksgiving Dog Toy, Pumpkin Pie, $4.99 at Aldi
Aldi
Part of Aldi's Heart to Tail pet collection, this Thanksgiving-themed toy brings a familiar holiday dessert straight into your dog's toy basket. It's a fun seasonal swap for the usual tennis balls and stuffed animals, especially in households where the dog has already appointed themselves official Thanksgiving taste tester.
Aldi has leaned into food-inspired dog toys before. PawNation previously featured the retailer's Halloween skeleton plush, another seasonal find for dogs who like a little variety in their toy collection.
The pumpkin pie design also makes for a hilarious holiday photo. Picture your dog proudly parading their own dessert around while everyone else carefully sets the table. At least one family member has figured out how to enjoy Thanksgiving without washing a single dish.
The pumpkin pie toy could also make a cute addition to a Thanksgiving gift basket for a fellow dog lover. Pair it with a few dog-safe treats, and you've got a little holiday surprise that doesn't involve sneaking scraps under the table.

A Thanksgiving Dessert With No Sharing Required
What I love about holiday-themed dog toys is how they let pets join the festivities without giving them anything they shouldn't eat. Traditional pumpkin pie can contain ingredients that aren't safe for dogs, so keep the human dessert well out of reach.
And while your dog may be thrilled with a new toy, it's still worth supervising play and checking for loose or damaged pieces. Not every dog approaches a stuffed companion with the same intentions.
For pups who prefer a challenge, PawNation also covered Aldi's treat-dispensing tire toy, which turns playtime into a small puzzle.
Your dog may not understand Thanksgiving, but they certainly understand receiving presents. And unlike the rest of the family, they probably won't complain if you serve the same.
