Gautam Agarwal shared thisI’ve been asked a few times to share my perspective on how AI is changing the way businesses, customers and partners create value. So I decided to start with a question that I believe deserves more attention: "If customers, vendors, partners and platforms all gain access to similar intelligence, what remains genuinely differentiated?" Most AI conversations begin with productivity: What can we automate? - How much time can we save? - How much more work can each person complete? Those questions matter. But they focus mainly on what happens inside the organization. The more difficult question is what happens across the wider ecosystem. Having moved from software development into technology marketing and partnerships, I have seen the value conversation from different sides. Technology teams often focus on what a system can do. Go-to-market and marketing teams are judged on whether it changes a customer or commercial outcome. That gap is where much of the real opportunity and disappointment sits. Over the years, I have been asked to share my observations through articles, blogs, conversations and industry discussions. I am now bringing some of those thoughts together in an evolving body of work on intelligent ecosystems, business relationships and the future of value creation. In the article, I explore a more uncomfortable question: "If AI makes information and routine execution abundant, what will customers still pay a premium for, and who will capture that value?" I would also like to invite you to reflect on your own business: "Which source of value is becoming easier to reproduce and which is becoming more difficult to replace?" I would be interested in your perspective. Gautam Agarwal shared thisEnergized by this thoughtful feedback from Umesh D. There’s nothing more rewarding for our team than seeing FACT ERP.NG’s embedded ESG solutions make a real difference for organizations navigating the fast-changing landscape of sustainability reporting and compliance. We remain committed to innovation, helping businesses of all sizes move beyond manual processes to achieve real-time, audit-ready ESG and carbon accounting. Thank you, Umesh, for the encouragement, and to our customers and partners for inspiring us to keep raising the bar! Roy Ling Arnab Chaudhuri Vivek Kumar, F.IOD Amandeep Singh Bedi Zubin Dabu Ping Soon Kok UN Global Compact Network Singapore #ESG #Sustainability #NetZero #CarbonAccounting #GreenCompliance #AI #ERPIntegration #SustainableBusiness #DigitalTransformationGautam Agarwal shared thisLast week a pre-scheduled 15 min call on FACT ERP.NG’s integrated ESG module (primarily arising out of curiosity) turned out to be an hour long demo call with it’s principal creator Arvind Agarwalla. I found FACT’s ESG module addresses current ESG reporting needs with a built-in, real-time sustainability accounting system that aligns with several global standards such as the GHG Protocol, CSRD (EU), SEBI and SEC climate disclosures. It goes beyond basic reporting to provide automated, audit-ready tracking of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. FACT uses transactional data from within the ERP system itself. It can be linked to an existing ERP too. This removes the reliance on disconnected spreadsheets and manual reporting which are key barriers for many mid-sized companies trying to comply with large buyer ESG expectations. Its key strengths according to me are: - Seamless integration - Lightning fast report generation - Audit-ready & real-time reporting/ analytics for decision makers Besides the top 1000 listed companies of India, it is something highly useful for Exporters and MNC subsidiaries needing compliance with EU CSRD or US SEC climate rules. Firms undergoing green supply chain audits or implementing Net Zero commitments. Decision makers in mid-sized to large enterprises across manufacturing, logistics, retail, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and chemical sectors that are subject to ESG mandates or sustainability-linked financing will find this a big blessing. I hope the FACT team will build on its other strength of Flexibility and adapt to the fast evolving ESG reporting requirements world over.

Gautam Agarwal liked thisA NEW HOME. A SHARED FUTURE…. Thank you, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, for inaugurating SIFAS’s new campus and for your thoughtful words on keeping our cultural traditions alive while opening new possibilities for future generations. As I shared in my welcome address: “Every great piece of music begins with a single note.” Seventy-seven years ago, twelve music lovers struck that first note. Today, it has become a symphony, with more than 50,000 people having passed through our doors. Our classrooms tell the Singapore story in rhythm and melody—people from different communities learning, creating and discovering together. For a charity, building this new home was a leap of faith, sustained by generous donors, committed volunteers, teachers and staff. Our heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the National Arts Council for their steadfast support. Our next chapter carries an ambition: to become a Centre of Excellence for Indian arts in ASEAN, rooted in Singapore and welcoming regional collaboration, mentorship and new creative work. We look forward to deepening connections with the High Commission of India in Singapore, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), and fellow arts institutions and community partners to make the arts accessible to more people. To everyone who helped bring us here, thank you. May this home offer “time to listen, room to grow,” and a lasting sense of belonging. Glad to join the SIFAS community for the opening of its new campus in the Bras Basah.Bugis arts and heritage district. Our cultural traditions stay alive when each generation learns to appreciate them, builds on them, and passes them on. I hope SIFAS will continue to give young Singaporeans strong roots in their heritage, while encouraging them to explore new possibilities and find their own artistic voice. With its new home, SIFAS also has an opportunity to reach wider audiences, and bring Singaporeans from different backgrounds together through the arts. It's not every day you get to be surrounded by so many people working on the future of financial services. Between the conversations on the show floor and seeing what other companies are building, there's always something new to learn. It's exciting to see how quickly fintech is evolving, and even more interesting to think about what these developments could mean for global businesses. Heading back with plenty of fresh perspectives and ideas to bring into what we're building at Aspire.

It is also my quiet wish to give a spark of confidence to those peers and juniors who may currently find themselves hesitating, unsure whether to take that next bold step. Turns out “going global” and having a global strategy are two very different things. 🌏 🎓 Just completed Rethinking Global Strategy with #INSEAD, and a few thoughts are sticking with me: 💡Distance still matters. Not just kilometres, but culture, regulation, economics and how people actually do business. 💡Your next competitive advantage may not sit inside your company. It could be with a partner, a startup, a customer or in a market halfway around the world. 💡Curiosity is a strategy. The moment we assume we already understand a market, customer or competitor is probably the moment we need to look again. After working across APAC, the theory felt very real. Japan is not Vietnam, Singapore is not Indonesia, and what works brilliantly in one market can fall completely flat in another. Global strategy starts with understanding the differences, not pretending they dont exist. I went into this course thinking a lot about markets. I came out thinking even more about connections. Here are three takeaways I loved: 🌏 Think global, but earn relevance locally. There is no substitute for understanding the market, culture and ecosystem you are entering. 🔗 #CompetitiveAdvantage increasingly sits between organisations, not just inside them. The ability to connect knowledge, partners and innovation globally is becoming a capability in itself. 💡 #Innovation can come from anywhere. Great global organisations dont just take ideas to the world. They learn from the world and bring those ideas back into the organisation. That last one resonates particularly strongly with me. A big part of my own #leadership journey has been about being a connector and orchestrator, bringing together people, markets and #ecosystems to create something bigger than each could create alone. Certificate earned. More importantly, plenty to take back into the real world. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/gPiPF7eP #INSEAD #GlobalStrategy #Leadership #APAC #NeverStopLearning #ChiefStrategyOfficer

Agentic AI will change how banks make decisions. The implications go beyond technology. Agentic systems introduce new operating realities that affect governance, trust, and the skills organizations rely on. What we're seeing across APAC banking points to three shifts: ✅Decision ecosystems replacing linear workflows ✅ Trust emerging as the ultimate differentiator in autonomous systems ✅ Talent models evolving as human and agent roles converge Agentic AI won't arrive in a single moment, but banks that start adapting now will be best positioned to navigate its impact. AI will make the advice conversation almost free. It won't make the corridor any cheaper. Most AI business cases in wealth model the savings at the front. Less time per client review, faster proposals, more clients per adviser. It is real and worth having. But let's look at where the cost sits when a Singapore-booked family has a business in Jakarta and a holding structure in the DIFC. It isn't the conversation. It's the suitability check that differs by booking centre, the product shelf that changes at the border, the evidence trail each supervisor expects to see. Regulators are pointing the same way. MAS has consulted on AI risk-management guidelines that treat customer-facing advice as a higher-risk use, with independent validation and human oversight. The DFSA's own survey found most DIFC firms still keep AI on internal work rather than in front of clients. So for an owner, the question isn't "which model?" Models are becoming interchangeable. The question is who owns the governed layer every model has to run through i.e. rules, data, audit trail, in each jurisdiction the client touches. Whoever owns that keeps the saving. Everyone else passes it on in price. Build that layer once, on top of the systems you already run, and each new corridor adds revenue faster than cost. Rebuild it market by market, and AI just gets you to the same bottleneck sooner. #WealthManagement #AIinFinance #AsiaPacific #GCC #WealthTech

I attended a B2B Marketing roundtable by Markeestro on Navigating the US GTM — one of the most honest conversations I’ve been part of in a long time. What stood out wasn’t what people said, but what they didn’t. No talk about campaigns or MQLs. Just clarity. Signal quality. Focus. The right ICP. A message that lands. Motions that scale. Wins tied to real revenue. Later, I read Kyle Poyar & Maja Voje’s 2025 State of B2B GTM Report — and it matched everything I heard in that room. Key shifts: • GTM teams are spread thin across 10+ channels • Small, intimate events > big conferences • AI search (AEO) is outpacing SEO • Attribution is breaking under buyer complexity • GTM success now depends on systems, not headcount I pulled these insights into a longer, reflective piece (Link in comments). Thanks to Ashkar Gomez and the Markeestro team — and great connecting with Jack Anto,Vaishali Gopal Suganthan Asokan, Shriram Ragothaman and Dilip Kumar! and Raja T M

Systems Limited - Banking & Financial Services

Trust is what makes complex transformations possible. Especially when a bank’s core systems support millions of customers and critical daily operations. PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk.’s core modernization brought Systems Limited, Temenos and Red Hat together to bridge a 15-year technology gap, migrate a large volume of critical data and modernize the bank’s core banking architecture. Featured by Temenos as a customer success story, the engagement reflects the strength of close collaboration, shared ownership and disciplined execution. As Ammara Masood, GM Banking and Financial Services at Systems Limited, highlights, lasting partnerships are built by working side by side and taking shared ownership of critical priorities.
