How it's calculated($20.00 × 40) × 52 paid weeksWeekly and daily results describe a paid working week; annual amounts account for unpaid weeks. Biweekly and monthly figures are annual averages.

Formula used in this calculator

Formula: Annual gross = [hourly rate × regular weekly hours + (hourly rate × overtime hours × overtime multiplier)] × paid weeks. If unpaid weeks are entered, paid weeks = scheduled weeks − unpaid weeks.

Example: $20/hour × 40 hours/week × 52 paid weeks, with no overtime, = $41,600 annual gross pay.

Note: Monthly and biweekly averages divide annual gross by 12 and 26. These are before tax and other deductions.
