Fortune Roulette by Pragmatic Review

Just recently, on January 29, the provider Pragmatic released its new roulette game called Fortune Roulette. In fact, this is a roulette with multipliers and a bonus round, which has replenished the already extensive portfolio of games from Pragmatic. Like all games with multipliers, Fortune Roulette is based on the rules of European roulette, and the multipliers here fluctuate up to x3240 in the main game and up to x9000 in the bonus game. This makes this game one of the highest-paid live roulettes with multipliers on the market. Let's now look closer at Fortune Roulette and what Pragmatic will surprise us with this time.

As already stated above, Fortune Roulette, like many other multiplier games, is based on European roulette, so it presents all the same standard outside and inside bets. In addition, here you will find all the standard options, as in other games from Pragmatic, such as bets on the racetrack, statistics, favourite bets, etc.

However, the main difference between Fortune Roulette and other games of this format is that multipliers in this game are applied to all inside bets, not only to straight-ups. Accordingly, the fact that multipliers are applied to inside bets decreases their standard payouts and RTP. Thus, the payouts for straight-ups without multipliers are reduced to 23:1, for splits 11:1, for streets 7:1, for corners 5:1, and for six-lines, the payouts are reduced to 3:1. For outside bets, the payouts are standard: 2:1 for dozens and columns and 1:1 for even money bets. Speaking of RTP, for outside bets, it is the standard 97.3%, and for inside bets, it may vary depending on the multipliers from 95.07% to 97.30%.

Now, let us return to the multipliers themselves. They can be conditionally divided into three types:

• Multipliers of the main game – maximum multiplier x540
• Multiplier via the Collector option – maximum multiplier x3240
• Multipliers of the bonus round – maximum multiplier x9000

Behind the wheel located in the centre of the screen, one can see 8 cases: 6 in the middle and two on the sides. On the left is a chest called Bonus, and we will talk a little later about the function of the chest on the right. So, each round begins with the players being given 18 seconds to place bets, after which from 1 to 6 of the central cases open and random numbers are assigned multipliers up to x540, as well as one random number being given the possibility to enter the bonus round. The bonus chest opens every spin, and the opening of the chest on the right is also random. If a player places a bet on one of the winning numbers, he receives the corresponding win. In my opinion, in this format, the game will be understandable to anyone who has already had experience playing other games with multipliers.

However, it is worth reminding that multipliers in Fortune Roulette are applied to all inside bets, which means that the winning multiplier will be divided by the number of numbers covered by the bet. Suppose a player placed a corner bet on 17-18-20-21. Number 21 is chosen as lucky and is assigned a multiplier of x84. The number 21 wins; however, the player's win will be divided by 4 since his bet covers four numbers and will be x21. The same scheme applies to other inside bets. That is why you may notice that all multipliers in the game are multiples of 6.

Now, let us return to the mysterious chest on the right. It is responsible for the Collector option. As for me, there is no option with such potential in other roulette with multipliers. Which, for me, will allow Fortune Roulette to make real competition with other live roulettes. That is, it collects all multipliers into one. The process is analogous: from one to six cases open each round, and if the Collector's chest opens, then that option is assigned to a certain number; if the number wins, the player receives the sum of all multipliers of that round. For example, suppose five lucky numbers are designated with multipliers x48, x84, x60, x48, and x120, and the Collector option is assigned to number 5. And if a player places a straight-up bet on number 5 and it wins, then he receives the sum of the multipliers; in our example, it is x312. If the player placed, for example, a street bet that covers number 5, then the win would be divided by 3.

The last type of multiplier remains – the bonus round. In each round, one of the 37 numbers is assigned the bonus round trigger option. In the event of a win, the bonus round begins, with a chance to win up to x9000 of the bet. The bonus round in Fortune Roulette is a 5-reel slot. On the left side, one can see the bet on which the bonus round is played. Accordingly, the multipliers will be displayed there depending on the bet – Straight Up, Split, Street, Corner, or Six-Line. So, initially, the player is given five spins, during which coins with multipliers will appear on the reels. However, to receive them along with the coins, the chest must also appear on the reels. The chest performs the Collector option and collects the multipliers of all coins. That is, if, for example, during a spin, five coins appear with different multipliers, but there is no chest, then the player receives nothing for that spin.

In addition, after such a chest appears, it is fixed in special cells at the top of the slot. If, during five spins, the player gets a chest three times, he receives an additional five spins, and the multipliers will be additionally multiplied by 2. If he manages to collect another three chests during the additional spins, then the player also receives an additional five spins and the multipliers are multiplied by 5. If he is lucky enough to win another three chests, the player receives another five spins, and an x10 multiplier is applied to the multipliers. Thus, the maximum multiplier of x9000 is achieved in the bonus round. After its conclusion, the players return to the main game lobby.
