𝗟-𝟮 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 ❗ 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼-𝟭 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗹𝘆.   With only 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼, Vyoma is approaching a pivotal moment in its journey, with strategic implications to Europe's defense. On 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗫'𝘀 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 is scheduled to lift off from California, carrying 𝗩𝘆𝗼𝗺𝗮'𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼-𝟭 into orbit: a satellite designed to deliver 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮, built to strengthen European 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁.   Behind this milestone are 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — from early design decisions to cleanroom integrations and launch readiness reviews. Announcing a new $21 million funding round for Luminate as we continue to build the future of cancer care. Since chemotherapy was first introduced on a wide scale more than 70 years ago, cancer care has progressed leaps and bounds in terms of molecules. But the reality patients face still looks a lot like the history from way back when: lots of time spent travelling to and attending appointments, painful side effects, and a huge financial burden. As more people get cancer and live longer with the disease - which drives even more demand for infusion space and rises healthcare costs further - this model isn't going to be sustainable any more. That's why we're building the technologies and services to help patients get more care at home, limit their side effects, and reduce their total cost of care. As covered in The Wall Street Journal and Business Post this morning, we are incredibly excited to continue to double down on this vision with Austin Walne at ARTIS, Lachy Groom, Francisco Gimenez at 8VC, and our new partners at Western Alliance Bank (Phil Ho) in our latest funding round. We're also grateful for the support of our earliest backers: SciFounders, Faber, Y Combinator, and Atlantic Bridge among others. With this support, our Lotus home infusion program is partnering right now with payers, clinics, and health systems across the US to enable patients to get low-risk therapies at home. Importantly, we're doing this while keeping a close-knit relationship between the patient and their oncology physician. We're also working on some exciting device and software products to help make this even more efficient at scale. Meanwhile, our Lilac and Lily devices to prevent neuropathy and hair loss continue to recruit patients in clinical trials as we work towards market approval. For all of our programs, we're thankful to the patients who trust us in supporting their care, and we're excited to meet new clinical partners who want to engage in our pilot programs. On a personal note, it is the pleasure of my life to be chasing this important mission, but even more so to do it with exceptional people.
