   There is existing legislation that provides protections to certain categories of security workers. The Home Office will work with stakeholders to consider this matter further.

2. Create a national database of convicted animal abusers

   The government responded on 29 April 2026

   The Government has no plans to introduce an animal abuse register because we already have similar provisions in place.

3. Review and increase expense rates for employees traveling outside the UK

   The government responded on 28 April 2026

   Overseas scale rates (OSR) allow employers to reimburse overseas travel costs without receipts. Where costs exceed rates, receipts can be used. The Government keeps OSR under review.
