We email this letter immediately after registration and again two days before your first session, but it's ALWAYS available online with a few keyboard strokes. FALL TERM 2026

Welcome! We're gearing up for another exciting term of learning, discovery, and connection. This fall's lineup features a wide range of courses designed to spark curiosity and bring our community together in the spirit of lifelong learning.

Registration is open!

You must have an active Osher at Dartmouth membership to register for most courses; the exception is a course lasting one (1) hour or less, which offers a non-member registration fee. Visit our membership page for more information. (Your membership purchase must be complete before registering for a course; the system won't let you purchase a membership AND pay for a course in the same transaction.)

Note: These fees do not cover materials or lab fees, nor do they include the cost of books or other reading materials.

2026 FALL COURSES

Registration is open!

A note regarding HyFlex: HyFlex courses offer both in-person and Zoom attendance options. Because classroom seats are limited, an in-person registration holds a spot whether or not you show up in the room. If you switch to Zoom without changing your registration, it means your classroom seat is empty, and another member may miss their chance to participate. Please register based on how you'll primarily attend, and call our office at (603) 646-0154 to switch your registration if your plans change.

OSHER ONLINE™ (OOL) COURSES

The OOL abbreviation under 'Format' signifies an Osher Online™ course. Our members register for these courses through the Osher at Dartmouth office, but the National Resource Center handles course details, preparation, and support. Visit our OOL page for more information.

UPDATES

This information doesn't appear in the catalog or was changed after the catalog was published.

• SCHEDULE CHANGE: Tom Urgo's "Thomas Ripley With a Dash of Carravaggio" course on Tuesdays will skip the November 24 session, which results in a new end date of December 1.
• SCHEDULE UPDATE: Alan Perper's course "Unexpected Consequences: A History of U.S. Civic Apathy" on Mondays was incorrectly listed in the catalog with a final date of November 23. The actual end date is November 30.
  CANCELLED: Michael Simpson's course "Learning From Nature: Building Sustainable Human Systems" has been cancelled.
