Ensure your employees adhere to a high cybersecurity standard. Set up a customizable Password Policy to determine your organization’s precise password strength requirements.
Notify organization members
Keep your employees in the loop when it comes to security. If any passwords flagged as vulnerable appear in the Dashboard, contact your organization’s members and ensure that all login credentials align with the established standard.
How does Password Health work in the vault?
Get a full overview of your vulnerable passwords and learn what makes them unreliable.
Exposed passwords
Check the passwords in your vault against a comprehensive database of compromised credentials, using information from the dark web. If any of the passwords match the database – even if another user had the same password for an unrelated account – they’re flagged as “Exposed.”
Weak passwords
See if your passwords meet the strength criteria. For personal use, Password Health checks them against NordPass security guidelines. For businesses, it evaluates them based on your company’s Password Policy. If a password doesn’t meet the required standard, it’ll be flagged as “Weak.”
Reused passwords
Find out if any of the passwords stored in your vault match each other or are used for more than one account. Reusing a password means that if it is leaked, multiple logins could be put at risk. If Password Health detects repeats, they’ll be flagged as “Reused” so you can replace them with unique ones.
Old passwords
See which passwords in your vault haven’t been updated in a long time, so you can refresh the ones that are most likely to be outdated or reused elsewhere. For NordPass Business users, only the end user can view the specific passwords – admins only see that a password is flagged as “Old.”
Create complex passwords with the Password Generator
Leave your vulnerable passwords behind. With the NordPass Password Generator, you can create new, strong, and unique passwords to keep all your accounts protected against breach attempts. Set the preferred password length and complexity, generate new passwords with just one click, and instantly store them in your vault.
