Welcome to Mocksville, North Carolina

“Time Well Spent” in the Heart of the Piedmont

Nestled in the rolling hills of North Carolina’s Piedmont region, the Town of Mocksville is a vibrant community of more than 6,000 residents who embody small-town charm, big opportunities, and timeless values. With its strategic location along major transportation corridors, established infrastructure, and commitment to growth, Mocksville offers the perfect balance of historic character and modern convenience.

A Community Built on Heritage and Heart

Chartered by the North Carolina General Assembly in 1839, Mocksville’s roots run deep in history and civic pride. You can explore this rich heritage at the Davie County Public Library’s History Room, where stories of community involvement, family legacies, and local milestones come to life.

Three historic districts grace the town, their streets proudly lined with American flags in tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for others. From the historic downtown square to the stately homes and landmarks that tell our story, Mocksville honors its past while looking confidently toward the future.
