What is MegaLaunch?
MegaLaunch is a launch platform and product directory for indie makers: a permanent product page with a followed link, community votes that rank each day's launches, and paid visibility that never changes the ranking. The most voted launches also lead the weekly and monthly rankings.
Is it free to launch?
Yes. A free listing has no time limit and requires a link back to MegaLaunch (a link or our badge) on your site. It goes live automatically 48 hours after your submission, once we have checked your link back. Premium costs $4.99 excl. VAT, one-time, and needs no link back. It is live as soon as payment is confirmed, with a highlighted card on the homepage on launch day, a feature in the next weekly newsletter and a post on our X account during your launch week.
When does a launch day start and end?
A launch day is one UTC calendar day, from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC, the same for every maker. Yours is the UTC day your page goes live: 48 hours after your submission for a free listing, once we have checked your link back, or as soon as payment is confirmed for Premium. Voting for the day ends at midnight UTC, then the day's Top 3 is recorded on the leaderboard.
Is the link to my website followed?
Free and Premium product pages include website links without nofollow or sponsored attributes. Search engines decide how they treat these links.
How does the ranking work?
Products are ranked by community votes, one vote per person. Ties go to the product published first. Paid options buy visibility and never change votes or rankings.
Can I relaunch my product?
Yes. A relaunch costs $4.99 excl. VAT per relaunch.
How can I advertise on MegaLaunch?
The Spotlight shows your product on every page for $4.99 per month, the Billboard starts at $5 for 30 days, and a Product story costs $19, all excl. VAT. Every paid placement is labeled Sponsored.
What is the directory submission service?
We submit your product to dofollow directories by hand and send you a report for every directory. No badge needed on your site. Plans start at $99 excl. VAT, one-time: Starter (30 directories), Growth (60) and Mega (100+). Each directory decides whether and when it publishes a listing.
