Outside of work, Jakub lives in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago with his wife, their three children, Julia, Gavin, and Maisie, and their two dogs, Phoebe and Ursula. He enjoys cheering on his favorite Chicago teams, including the White Sox, Bears, and Bulls, and taking road trips with his family across the country.
