Building Mableton’s Police Department
Mableton is preparing for the next major phase of cityhood: launching Mableton-delivered public safety services.
The City is targeting June 1, 2027, for full transition. To meet that goal, work is already underway on staffing, hiring, training, vehicles, technology, facilities and public safety operations.
The goal is not simply to create a police department. The goal is to build the right department for Mableton — one that is staffed, trained, equipped, connected and ready to serve.
