WITCH HAT ATELIER SHOCKS FANS BY CLIMBING TO THE TOP OF SPRING 2026 ANIME RANKINGS 🔥 It’s not one of the big shounen blockbusters stealing the spotlight — Witch Hat Atelier has become the series everyone seems to be talking about this season after unexpectedly reaching the top of multiple Spring 2026 anime rankings. ✨ What surprised many viewers is that the anime doesn’t rely on the usual formula of nonstop battles or constant plot twists. Instead, it wins people over with its incredibly detailed magical world, illustration-like visuals, and a fantasy atmosphere that feels increasingly rare in modern anime. 🎨 Many fans have even commented that every frame of the show “looks like a moving artbook page,” especially the magic sequences, which are handled with a creative and fluid visual style. 📈 Once known mainly within niche manga communities, Witch Hat Atelier has now turned into one of this year’s breakout anime hits. The world's first Pokémon airport is opening in Noto, Japan. Starting July 7, 2026, Noto Satoyama Airport will operate as the Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport through the end of September 2029, a partnership between Ishikawa Prefecture and the Pokémon With You Foundation, created to support communities recovering from the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The terminal features Pokémon throughout, including a large installation based on the 2024 artwork "Akarui Mirai," with Pikachu, Plusle, and Minun appearing as 3D monuments in the arrival lobby. The decor incorporates all 111 Flying-type Pokémon. Visitors can shop at Serendipity, dine at Restaurant Annon, and view the Pikachu no Satoyama observation deck. Starting mid-July, Hokuriku Tetsudo Group will run Pokémon-wrapped buses connecting the airport to Kanazawa Station, Wajima City, and other regional sites. Pokémon is jointly owned by three companies: Nintendo, 株式会社ゲームフリーク（GAME FREAK inc.）, and @Creatures Inc. San Diego Comic-Con  | Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO ("Alex Zero") is slated for a 2027 release Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO is set in a future where human civilization has reached unprecedented prosperity. Humanity acquired three technologies from beyond the solar system, known as the "Three Gospels": Gravity Control Faster-Than-Light Communication "Materialize" technology, which can turn images into physical matter With these three breakthroughs, humanity rapidly expanded its influence throughout the solar system. "RG Project"  is a Mobile Suit Gundam initiative that links an anime and a game.  RG XARX-ZERO will serve as a prequel, taking place roughly 100 years before the game's story to reveal the world's origins.The game, set after the anime, will allow players to directly participate in this history, making new choices in the wake of established events and experiencing what it's like to "personally intervene in the world."

People grow faster when nobody tells them to "wait their turn." At DELULU, we don't think people should wait years before taking on more responsibility. If you're ready to own something, we'll let you own it. If you're wondering what that looks like in real life, just ask our Art Director, Ats Nukki. We don't hand people bigger responsibilities because of a new title. More often, the opposite happens. People become curious about what happens beyond their own role. They ask questions, get involved in decisions, work more closely with other teams, and gradually start owning more than their original position required. Over time, their role grows naturally. The title simply catches up. Ats became an Art Director just six months after joining DELULU, but the promotion wasn't the story. The curiosity behind it was. Here are a few thoughts from Ats about what actually helped him grow. We're looking forward to many more stories like this.

There's a gap growing in the fortunes of Japan's anime production studios and companies, as Matt Schley thoroughly writes. A く (ku) shaped economy, he calls it. An excellent metaphor. I'm quoted a couple times in this excellent article with my thoughts on the financial pressures that anime studios face with the growing demand for digitalization and new talent. It's always a pleasure speaking with The Japan Times reporters about the state of the anime industry.

If anyone is interested in developing their skills in Nomad sculpt, a quick thought based on my experience that might be helpful. 💬 Here are some tips for developing this skill: 1)Be friendly and outigoing and talk to other artists in school and outside of schools. 2)Try as many tutorials before you ask people questions also at least the questions you have may be more specified and better for your learning!
