Register on the site, confirm your email, then log in and complete your submission form: entry title, design director, company or school, category, client and URL (if applicable), and up to ten images plus an optional PDF. After reviewing your entry, proceed to payment. All major credit/debit cards accepted.

Yes, you can enter your work into as many categories as you feel are appropriate. Each entry is evaluated independently per category. It's not uncommon for exceptional work to be recognised in multiple categories.

Yes. Because Indigo is an international competition reviewed by a global jury, all entries and submission details should be written in English.

Anywhere. Indigo Design Award is an international competition — designers from all countries are welcome to submit.

All submitted designs must be no more than five years old.

Results are posted on the Indigo website and sent to all subscribed members within one month after the final deadline. Every entrant receives an automatic email notification when results go live.

Images must be uploaded as JPG, GIF or PNG, with a maximum of 5MB per image. You can upload up to ten images per entry. PDF documents are optional but accepted alongside image uploads.

Entries cannot normally be changed after payment. However, if you made a genuine mistake, email hello@indigoaward.com explaining the nature of the error and we'll consider an exception.

Refund requests can be made within five days of entry. Email michele.t@indigoaward.comto confirm eligibility. Approved refunds are processed within five business days.

All copyright remains with the designer. By submitting, you grant Indigo Award the right to use your images for marketing and promotional purposes — always with your credit line attached.

Winners receive global recognition through the Indigo Design Award platform, a digital badge for use across their portfolio and social channels, inclusion in the winners showcase, and an invitation to attend the annual Indigo Party — hosted in cities like Lisbon, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Tbilisi.

All entries are evaluated by our international jury of design leaders from companies including Google, Spotify, Microsoft, Nike, Amazon, and more. Judges assess work independently based on creativity, craft, innovation, and impact within its category.
