Vishal Rupani shared thisCan Tatkal applicants print passports at home? Apointment at 9:30 AM on Oct 29. Police verification at home at 6 PM on Oct 30. Passport in hand by 12:50 PM on Oct 31. Renewal done in just over 48 hours. With an embedded RFID chip. And this wasn't Tatkal. SMS updates at every stage, from appointment booking to processing, dispatch and delivery. No chasing, no guesswork. Kudos to the Passport Office and the Government of India for making the entire process this smooth and efficient! I am pleasantly surprised. Now I'm genuinely curious. If this is the speed of a regular passport renewal, how fast is Tatkal?

Vishal Rupani reposted thisVishal Rupani reposted thisYears of hard work have gone into building Blink Digital from the ground up. Operating on global technology platforms brings its own challenges, and disputes can arise. I know what it takes for an Indian business to stand its ground against a global tech giant. Indian businesses operating on global platforms should have access to remedies under Indian law. The Hon’ble Bombay High Court’s order, holding prima facie that our suit can proceed in Mumbai, is an important step for us. The impact on our business has been deeply challenging. We have full faith in the judicial process, as the matter remains before the Court. The journey continues.

Vishal Rupani reposted thisVishal Rupani reposted thisA day of learning, meaningful conversations, and an experience I’ll always be grateful for! I had the privilege of co-hosting Leadership Summit 2026, organised by the Department of Management, Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) in collaboration with Thakur Global Business School (TGBS). Centred around the theme “From Silos to Synergy: Leveraging Technology for Innovation and Sustainable Growth,” the summit offered an opportunity to reflect on how technology is transforming the way businesses operate and how leaders must adapt to these changes. One perspective that particularly stayed with me came from Mr. Chinmay D. Gavankar, who spoke about the growing importance of emotional intelligence, collaboration, and problem-solving in a world where knowledge is becoming increasingly accessible through AI. His question “When AI saves us time, what will we do with that saved time?” left me thinking about how productivity should not just be about doing more, but also about making time for learning, relationships, and personal growth. I was also grateful to share the stage as we welcomed Mr. GPJ Gupta of Aditya Birla Capital, Mr. Shazeb Khan of Microsoft, and Mr. Vishal Rupani, Co-founder and CEO of Sprect, whose presence brought valuable industry perspectives to the summit. Beyond the discussions, hosting this event was an opportunity to step up, engage with a distinguished audience, and experience the responsibility that comes with being the voice guiding an event. It reminded me that communication is not just about speaking well, but also about connecting with people and carrying yourself with confidence. Grateful to Jonita Dcosta Ma’am for trusting me with this opportunity, and to everyone who contributed to making Leadership Summit 2026 a memorable experience. Looking forward to learning, growing, and embracing more opportunities like this! #LeadershipSummit2026 #Leadership #ArtificialIntelligence #TGBS #TCET #CommunicationSkills #ProfessionalGrowth

Vishal Rupani shared thisGround rule: Panelists had 90 seconds to respond. If anyone went over, I'd make a funny sound to distract them and make them lose their train of thought. And I did! Once. Turns out, making the rules is easier than enforcing them. A lesson in leadership, perhaps. I had a great time moderating a panel at the Leadership Summit 2026 at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) and Thakur Global Business School (TGBS). The panel brought together GPJ Gupta (Aditya Birla Capital), Chinmay D. Gavankar (EY) and Shazeb Khan (Microsoft), with Dr. R R. SEDAMKAR and Dr. Shuchi Gautam joining us on stage. We discussed AI, technology-led transformation and the future of work. And what this means for students. A big thank you to Rahul Harshavadan Mehta, Ritu Kashyap, Dr. Shiny Colaco and Shailesh Kumar for the excellent panel selection, flawless execution and warm hospitality. Thank you for having me! P.S. If you're a student reading this, you don't have to figure everything out on your own. Sometimes, one conversation with the right person can save you months of trial and error.

Likewise, a logo is often...maybe the smallest element of a brand. Yet, some of the biggest strategic decisions are hidden within it. A great brand logo should aspire to something remarkably similar. Think about it. A few curves, a particular colour, an unusual shape or even a carefully considered absence of space can become worth billions in brand equity. However, what makes those seemingly simple elements so powerful? A logo is drawn twice. First in the mind. Then on the page. The first drawing is driven by science. It explores how the human brain perceives shapes, recognizes patterns, stores visual memories and distinguishes one brand from another. It asks the strategic questions: What should people associate with this brand? What makes it distinctive? What should remain in their minds long after the visual disappears? The second drawing is where art takes over. Imagination gives the idea form. Expression creates personality. Emotion brings human connection. Craft transforms strategic intent into something people can recognise, remember and relate to. And this is where...the real magic happens. The finest logos are rarely the most complicated. They are the ones where every creative decision has a strategic reason to exist. A logo can be aesthetically beautiful yet strategically forgettable. Equally, a strategically sound idea can lose its power through uninspired execution. The strongest identities bring both disciplines together. At Garage, we believe designing a logo is ultimately an exercise in understanding people, businesses and the space a brand deserves to occupy in the human mind. Because a logo is more than something people see. It is something they learn to recognize, associate with meaning and eventually trust. Here's a question for brand leaders and marketers: If your brand name disappeared from your logo, would people still recognize who you are? Unacademy to be acquired by upGrad in share-swap deal India’s edtech sector is consolidating as Unacademy, once valued at $3.5 billion, is being acquired by rival upGrad in an all-stock deal. The move comes after Unacademy’s valuation fell below $500 million and the company refocused on core online learning products while scaling back offline initiatives and completing an employee stock buyback. Co-founder Gaurav Munjal will continue leading Unacademy and the combined entity will strengthen upGrad’s integrated model across K-12, upskilling, and lifelong learning. Unacademy’s AI-first language-learning app Airlearn is expanding in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Canada. This deal marks a major shift in India’s edtech landscape after Byju’s collapse and Physics Wallah’s rise. #EdTech #Startups #India #Unacademy #upGrad #Education

The PhonePe IPO Reality Check Nobody Wants to Talk About Everyone’s busy hyping the IPO of PhonePe, but let’s pause and ask a brutal question: Is this a growth story… or an exit story? Backed by Walmart, the company is reportedly targeting a $9–10.5B valuation, notably lower than its previous $12B private valuation. That’s not just “market conditions”… that’s a reality correction. Even more interesting? This IPO is 100% Offer For Sale, meaning: 👉 No fresh capital for the company 👉 Early investors like Tiger Global and Microsoft are heading for the exit 👉 Retail investors might just be the liquidity event Let that sink in. Yes, PhonePe dominates UPI, but here’s the uncomfortable truth: 💸 Payments in India are mostly zero-margin 📉 Despite scale, profitability is still under pressure ⚠️ Monetisation remains the biggest unanswered question () And history has not been kind… Remember Paytm? Massive IPO. Massive hype. Then… reality. Now ask yourself 👇 Are we investing in: A) India’s fintech future B) Or someone else’s past gains Because when insiders sell, and no new money comes in, it’s not funding growth… It’s transferring risk.
