Mayank Pratap Singh shared thisYour children 👶 🧒 are always watching. They may ignore your lectures about health, but they rarely ignore your example. They notice whether you wake up and move. They notice whether you make time for your body. They notice whether you treat exercise as a punishment or a privilege. They notice whether you choose your phone first… or your health first. *Children dont just inherit our genes.*🧬 *They inherit our routines, our attitudes, our relationship with food, movement, sleep, and even stress.* When they see you lace up your shoes every morning, they learn that movement is a normal part of life. When they see you keep promises to yourself, they learn discipline. When they see you prioritize your health, they learn that self-care isn’t selfish…it’s responsibility. Because they're not asking the right question. Wrong question: "What features do you want?" "Customers will describe solutions. Usually the wrong ones. Right question: "What did you try to do last week that you couldn't?" That answer is a product roadmap. One founder I worked with had 200+ feature requests in a backlog. We did 20 customer calls with one question: "What's the last thing you wanted to do in the product that you gave up on?" Same answer came up 14 times. It wasn't in the backlog. They built it in 3 weeks. NPS jumped 22 points. The insight was always there. They just hadn't asked the question that surfaced it. Your roadmap isn't in a planning doc. It's in your customers' frustration. Go find it.

The direction is transparent. But the reasoning behind every call, nobody needs that. Clarity over justification. None of these are original ideas. I just stopped knowing them and started doing them. There's a gap between ""I know this"" and ""I actually operate this way."" That gap is where most founder leverage is hiding.

Every objection is fear in disguise: "We're evaluating other vendors" = I'm afraid to commit "We need to loop in legal" = I'm afraid of what I didn't check "Can we do a pilot first" = I'm afraid it won't work Your job isn't to overcome objections. Your job is to remove the fear underneath them. What proof do they need to feel safe? Give them that. Before they ask.

Mayank Pratap Singh shared thisThe second product is harder than the first. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁: you're hungry, fast, nothing to lose. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁: you have a team, a brand, existing customers watching. Fear changes everything. Most companies that fail at product expansion, they weren't dumb. They were too careful. They researched it to death. Built consensus. Ran surveys. Got alignment. And by the time they shipped, the moment had passed. The first product worked because you moved before you were ready. The second product failed because you waited until you were. One company I know spent 11 months validating a new product line internally. A competitor built it in 4 months. With worse execution. Didn't matter. First mover got the category. Speed protects more than research does, at early stage. Your second product needs the same energy as your first. The recklessness was a feature. Not a bug.

Mayank Pratap Singh shared thisWe're not the biggest company. We're not the most famous. We don't have a ping pong table or free lunch. What we have: Real products. Real clients. A team that argues about architecture and not office politics. Work that goes live and actually gets used by real people. If that sounds like where you want to be keep reading.

Competition framing puts you on their court. Their rules. Their category. Positioning framing puts you in a different game entirely. We didn't compete with big agencies. We became the answer for the founders that big agencies ignored. Too small for McKinsey. Too technical for a branding shop. Too early for a full-time CTO. That gap is a market. Most niches feel too small until you're in them. Then you realize: small is specific. Specific is trusted. Trusted converts. The $500M agency doesn't know your customer's name. You do. That's not a weakness. That's the product.

It was not just about learning, but about meaningful conversations, shared journeys, and the power of a global community. A proud and unforgettable moment was receiving the Best Chapter Launch Award for EO Uttarakhand. This recognition belongs to our president Anuj & the entire board who believed in the vision, contributed their energy, and helped build something so impactful from the ground up. Representing our region at a global platform reaffirmed one thing—when passion meets collaboration, boundaries dissolve. We kicked off EO South Asia Founders Bridge first offsite on 11th June with the Incoming Board Start Summit led by Yash Daga , followed by an engaging board retreat and an evening board dinner focused on vision, alignment, and the year ahead. On 12th June, members from across the South Asia region began arriving, bringing with them energy, enthusiasm, and a spirit of collaboration. The day started with icebreakers and a walkthrough of EO’s core values, which I had the privilege of facilitating in my role as Member Engagement Chair. This was followed by an insightful session by Deepinder Bedi on scalingup businesses, setting the stage for meaningful conversations and connections. The evening socials ensured that learning seamlessly blended with fun. A highlight of the offsite was the President’s Ball 2025–26, where we celebrated leadership, welcomed the incoming Board for FY 2026–27, and created memories that will stay with us for years to come. #EOSAFB

Three insights I am taking back with me: 🔹 Shared Vision: Every employee should understand where the organization is headed and how their role contributes to that journey. 🔹 Safety Net: Organizations grow stronger when leaders create an environment where teams feel supported, trusted, and empowered to make decisions. 🔹 High-Performance Culture: Exceptional results come when people are aligned, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement. Coworking space provider DevX (Dev Accelerator Ltd) has filed its red herring prospectus (RHP) after receiving the approval for an initial public offering (IPO).👇 The Ahmedabad-based company’s public issue will open on September 10 (Wednesday) and subsequently close on Friday. Post this, its shares will list both on the NSE and BSE, making DevX the fourth publicly listed coworking space provider in India in recent months after the likes of Awfis, IndiQube and Smartworks. The company’s IPO solely consists of a fresh issue of shares of 2.35 Cr. This is a reduction of 40 Lakh equity shares from the fresh issue proposed in the DRHP. From the capital raised via the IPO, DevX plans on utilising INR 73.1 Cr for fit-outs of new centres and INR 35 Cr for repayment or pre-payment of certain borrowings taken by the company. Beyond 'Cheap Talent': Unlocking Strategic Brilliance in India Founders: STOP calling it 'cheap talent.' When we hired our first dev team from India, we didn't find 'cheap.' We found *strategic brilliance*. Honestly, like many US startup founders, my initial thought process for exploring remote teams in India probably included the word "cost-effective." It felt like a smart financial move. But that perception was shattered almost immediately. What we actually discovered was a depth of technical expertise, a relentless dedication to problem-solving, and a proactive ownership that blew us away. These weren't just hands-on-keyboards; they were genuine partners in innovation. They challenged assumptions, contributed ideas that materially improved our product roadmap, and consistently delivered high-quality work, often exceeding our own internal benchmarks. It wasn't about saving a buck. It was about unlocking a competitive advantage. It was about accelerating our product development cycle, scaling faster than we ever thought possible, and accessing a talent pool that's driven by a powerful work ethic and a desire to build world-class products. The real value isn't in the lower operational cost (though that's a nice bonus). It's in the *velocity*, the *quality*, and the *innovation* that this talent brings to the table. It's about building a truly global, high-performing team that propels your startup forward. So, if you're still thinking about India purely as a cost-cutting measure, I urge you to reframe. You might just be missing out on your next strategic differentiator. What's been your experience hiring globally? Or what's one misconception you've encountered about remote talent? #RemoteTeams #GlobalHiring #StartupSuccess #IndianTalent #FutureOfWork #StrategicBrilliance #Workbase

Edtech startup SpeakX.ai (formerly Yellow Class) has just set a strong example for India’s startup culture. The company, led by Founder & CEO Arpit Mittal, announced a $1 million ESOP buyback, giving 15 of its 20 employees the power to cash out their stock options today, not years later. Unlike traditional ESOPs that reward only senior roles, SpeakX’s policy shares ownership across teams and offers a 10-year exercise window. This shows how new-age startups are turning equity into real value, not just future promises.
