Mani Makkar liked thisMani Makkar liked thisLast week all our feeds were full of Kunal Shah stories. I don't know Kunal personally, but seeing those messages brought a smile. It just made me happy. I know a lot of people who have worked with him, or whose companies he has backed and I have an observer's pov on CRED and Indian start-up ecosystem. Over the weekend I sat down and wrote about what his move to WhatsApp could mean for the ecosystem. 1. It opens a new path, beyond the traditional two for the India and Silicon Valley movement. 2. It could open new possibilities for Indian operators to take up projects in Silicon Valley, and the other way around too. 3. Would love to see more CRED style Ads or Danish Sait's take on AWS re:Invent x Silicon Valley projects. Best wishes to Kunal in the new role. Hopeful a lot of this plays out. We collaborated with Dhun as part of their first anniversary celebrations, and spent the day introducing Done In One to a community that genuinely cares about wellness and longevity. The conversations were my favourite part. Not because people were trying the product for the first time, but because so many of them were already deeply invested in their health and wellness journeys and truly got excited by the idea of uncomplicating a big part of their health routine. The questions, the discussions, the curiosity - made for some really fun conversations throughout the day. One of the highlights was meeting Mira (Kapoor) and spending time talking about longevity, community-building, and everything she's creating with Dhun. It’s easy to see the thought and intention behind what they've built over the past year. After the event, I came back thinking what an exciting time to be building in the health space in India. People care. They're actively looking for better ways to take care of themselves. And they’re looking for high utility solutions that fit seamlessly into their routines. Also, thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried Done In One, loved the drink, and spent time with us. Done In One is finding its way into people's daily routines. The more I build, the more convinced I am that we want to be intentional, and keep building Boost Labs community-first! People try us out, love us and promote us because they believe in us as they experience the difference! That's what made this collaboration with Dhun feel like the right first step for us. What a FIRST month it's been. 🧡

The way brands build relationships, orchestrate engagement, and turn data into value is shifting fast. Getting to shape how Comviva's MarTech unit meets that moment is exactly the work I came here to do. Aligning the vision with the right streams, sharpening the narrative, and building go-to-market that actually lands. I'm grateful to be part of Greg's team. Excited to carry these insights and the product vision to market under the leadership of Greg, Manish, and Saurabh. Also looking forward to be working alongside Mudit and Shivangi. Big thanks to Abhishek BHARTI and Sabyasachi for ensuring a very smooth hiring and onboarding process. There's real momentum here. More to share soon.

Our jaws dropped when we asked for MCP access and they came back with an upsell for 2x the price. Some vendors from the pre-AI era just aren’t getting it. We will not be renewing with customers that gatekeep OUR data. Janky dry burger with no condiments? No thanks.

In May, the entire Clazar crew packed their bags and headed to Thailand for a workation and honestly? Best decision we've made this year. Days were a mix of laptops open, big ideas flying, and figuring out marketplace strategy over pad thai. Evenings were temples, beaches, street food, and the kind of team bonding that no off-site agenda could ever manufacture. We laughed a lot. Worked hard. Got a little sunburned. And came back with more energy and alignment than any quarterly planning session has ever produced.
