That moment when Nedry tries to escape the island after sabotaging the security system—only to be met by that deceptively curious, venom-spitting Dilophosaurus—is pure cinematic tension. I still remember the dread that scene gave me when I first saw it. It instantly brought back memories of other legendary moments, like when Alan sits in the jeep, stunned, as he sees a brachiosaurus for the first time—and Attenborough’s character says, “My dear Dr. Alan… welcome to Jurassic Park.” Chills. Or the silent horror of the water in the glass beginning to ripple, just before the T. rex makes its entrance. Literal goosebumps. Tanuj brings over 11 years of experience in game design, working across the full lifecycle of games, from concept and prototyping through launch and LiveOps. His journey has taken him across DTH interactive games and mobile titles, including Pet Shelter and Bingo Bash, where he has worked on gameplay, features, LiveOps, and optimizing live experiences for player engagement and product performance. What stands out about Tanuj is how he connects player psychology with data to make better design decisions. Whether he is shaping a new feature or improving an existing live experience, he looks closely at how players behave, what keeps them engaged, and where the experience can be improved. That balance of player understanding, performance insights, and continuous iteration has shaped his approach to building systems that work for both the player and the product. What drew Tanuj Sehgal to Liquidnitro Games was the opportunity to learn from the experience within the team while contributing across Liquidnitro Games’s growing portfolio of games. Working across different genres and player experiences gives him the space to exchange ideas, broaden his perspective, and continue evolving his craft alongside people who have spent years building games. Outside of work, Tanuj enjoys playing the guitar, sports, long motorcycle rides, and trekking through natural landscapes, finding time outdoors a good way to disconnect, recharge, and return with a fresh perspective. A recent report by Entrackr caught my attention: over 99% of Gameberrys ₹711 crore operating revenue reportedly came from overseas markets. It got me thinking about the Indian gaming industry.
