What can a team build in 24 hours when given the freedom to experiment, solve problems, and think differently? At Gameberry Labs, our recent hackathon brought teams together around two themes: Smarter Games & Smarter Workflows. Here’s what those 24 hours looked like: New ways to play. From Hatch Me If You Can!, a PvP game where players catch escaping chickens, to Legends of Ludo, which adds RPG-style attacks to classic Ludo, teams reimagined familiar gaming experiences. Smarter ways to build. Game Forge explored making game creation easier, while Loopright used specialist AI agents to take ideas from market research to playable prototypes, testing, and evaluation. Teams making things happen. People brainstormed, tested ideas, worked through challenges, and built prototypes under a tight deadline. Projects like Playgram, an Instagram-style experience for games, and Bug Bounty, a QA scouting concept, showed the range of ideas explored. Congratulations to our winners, Yash Gupta Koushik Das Vikasa R B Vishwas Singh for Smarter Games and Parvezali Polra Vishwas Kemparaj for Smarter Berryvengers, along with all the runners-up and teams who took part. The hackathon may be over. The work doesn't have to stop here. The next step is to look at these ideas, understand what has potential, and explore which ones we can take forward. Because sometimes, 24 hours is all it takes to get an idea moving. A big shoutout to our judges for taking the time to review the ideas, share their perspectives, and help make this hackathon a success!
