A spicy take made it into the shorts. It gets much, much spicier during the interview. Thank you Yoel Israel for having me on IsraelTech! Tom Granot started writing code when he was 12. Today he barely writes it at all. He spends his time helping deep tech founders figure out how to sell what their engineers built, and making YouTube videos about it. Tom, Founder of Syntax GTM, started as an engineer, built marketing from scratch at an early-stage deep tech startup, and now advises technical founders on go-to-market. He has strong opinions about Israel's B2B marketing scene, and he shares most of them here. Founders spend months selling a message they never tested. Marketers spread themselves across too many channels. And Israel, for all its engineering talent, still has no reliable way to train people who can sell deep tech, which is why so many startups hire an American marketer as soon as they close an A. Yoel and Tom also get into why Americans write better copy, how Israelis and Americans use AI differently, and Tom's theory that WhatsApp groups help explain why Israel is one of the heaviest per capita users of Claude.

Academic benchmarks give you a starting point. They can't tell you whether your system does the job you built it for. Adam Grzywaczewskii (Director of AI, Physical AI Segment, NVIDIA) made that point in the final episode of my NVIDIA interview series. His team steps in when deployments get hard, so he sees the hard end of the spectrum. His advice for teams putting open Nemotron models into production: 1. Write the requirements first, then tests that capture them. A neural network's output is stochastic, so your tests measure how likely a failure is. 2. Track cost and performance with an automated number. Someone ships a harmless-looking operating system update, inference slows down, and nobody notices. 3. Fine-tune for cost as well as quality. In one engagement his team trained the speculative decoding component on a narrow use case and distilled the model into a smaller variant. Five episodes in, I keep coming back to one idea. This is still engineering, and probabilistic systems need more guarding than deterministic ones. Full conversation in the first comment. #NVIDIAGTC

Taking AI-native development to the next level! Gabriel Grinberg, is heading to Japan 🇯🇵 to speak at Architecture Conference 2026, which also features Martin Fowler as a keynote speaker! 👏 In his talk, "From Zero to $200M ARR: Behind the Scenes of Base44's AI-Native Architecture", Gabriel will share how Base44 scaled from a one-person project by Maor Shlomo to $200M ARR in less than two years, while keeping its architecture remarkably simple. From a single backend and AI-friendly SDK to a world where AI agents write most of the code, he'll share the engineering decisions, architecture, and lessons behind that journey. Go Gabriel!

Most people don't understand my company. That's on me. A little embarrassing, because explaining products is what I've done for 20 years. I used to be good at it. But Trove is new. There's no playbook for it, and nothing people already know to compare it to. Here's what keeps me going: the people who get it, love it. They pay for it. They just had to see it first. So I stopped explaining and started testing. I asked Claude the same 8 questions twice. Once alone. Once with Trove, so it could read the right book first. Real chats. Claude isn't wrong. It's average. Give it the book, and it answers like the expert. Swipe through and tell me: does it click now?

Your agent can read most of the web just fine, right up until something asks it to pay. Then it stops and waits for a human. HTTP 402 has been sitting in the spec since the 90s, barely used. Payment Required. Now that software is doing the browsing, more endpoints are actually returning it, and an agent that hits one is stuck. Amazon Web Services (AWS) put it well in the piece below: "Without a mechanism to pay, the task that was supposed to run autonomously now requires human intervention." The usual workaround is to put a wallet inside the agent. Private keys sitting in the runtime, no spending cap, and no record of what got bought. Nobody who has shipped that setup feels good about it. So we built the other version with AWS, and they published the whole thing on the AWS Machine Learning Blog. How it splits: → AgentCore Payments holds the money side. Wallet credentials, signing, budget enforcement, and an audit trail, none of it inside your agent's code. → Anchor Browser holds the session. The browser stays authenticated, hits the 402, and settles it through a built-in x402 tool without a private key ever reaching the runtime. → The agent keeps going. That's the whole point of it. Most of the work right now goes into agents that can decide things. Much less goes into what happens when the decision costs money and somebody has to answer for it afterwards. That layer is what we build. Credit to Elay Gelbart and Guy Ben Simhon ⚓ on our side, and to Cher Simon, Chethan Shriyan and Peter J. at AWS for building it with us. The web was built for humans, and so was paying for things on it. Full walkthrough with the code is here: https://lnkd.in/dc7m7RbJ ⚓⚓⚓

Wonderful Raises $100M to Redefine Customer Service with AI Agents Israeli startup Wonderful AI has raised a massive $100M Series A led by Index Ventures, with participation from Insight Partners, IVP, Bessemer, and Vine Ventures — bringing its total funding to $134M in just four months. While the AI agent market is already crowded, Wonderful stands out for building infrastructure and orchestration systems designed to scale multi-agent deployments across industries and languages — not just another GPT wrapper. The company’s platform allows enterprises to deploy customer-facing AI agents across voice, chat, and email — tailored to local languages, cultural norms, and regulations. It even forms local teams to manage on-ground deployment, ensuring smooth adoption. Since coming out of stealth, Wonderful’s AI agents have achieved: - Tens of thousands of customer requests daily - 80% resolution rate - Expansion to Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Romania, Baltics, Adriatics, and the UAE With this new funding, Wonderful plans to launch in Germany, Austria, the Nordics, and Portugal in 2025, and expand to APAC in early 2026. But it doesn’t stop at customer service — Wonderful aims to scale into employee training, sales enablement, regulatory compliance, IT support, and onboarding using the same AI orchestration framework. CEO Bar Winkler summed it up perfectly: “The promise of AI agents is clear, but putting that into production is a huge challenge. It requires best-in-class tech combined with flawless delivery — that’s been our approach.” Investors believe Wonderful’s culturally fluent, globally adaptable AI agents could define the next phase of enterprise automation, where every interaction feels local, personal, and efficient.

Already processing tens of thousands daily with an 80% resolve rate. CEO Bar Winkler says the platform will go beyond customer service into training, compliance, and IT support.
