It's been almost two weeks since hayaData 2026, and there is still so much work to be done... organizing a conference doesn't end when the conference ends. Who knew.... Anyway, it's about time I shared a few words about this crazy experience. So another hayaData Conference is behind us, our 6th consecutive year, and once again, I was part of the team leading and organizing this crazy thing. Months of planning, endless meetings, phone calls, emails, spreadsheets, solving problems, creating new problems, solving those too... all for one day. A bit like a wedding. And then, suddenly, it's over. Just like that. But what a day. This was probably our biggest hayaData ever, with over 1,100 attendees, dozens of speakers, four tracks, and so many amazing people. We also got some great feedback, so apparently all that work paid off. But beyond the numbers, one of my favorite parts was simply seeing everyone together. People catching up, meeting new people, sharing ideas, and just enjoying being part of this community. That's really what hayaData is all about, and why we keep doing this year after year. There are sooo many people to thank: 🎤 Our speakers - thank you for putting so much time and effort into your talks, going through the dry runs (yes, we know there were a lot of them), and sharing your knowledge with everyone. 💜 Our amazing hayaData team - data experts from different companies who volunteered to review CFPs, build the agenda, mentor speakers, run dry runs, and help with a million other things. 🤝 Our sponsors - without you, this whole thing simply wouldn't happen. Thank you for supporting the conference and the community behind it. And a special thank you to Riskified & Riskified Tech, where hayaData started six years ago, for continuing to lead and support this initiative. 🙌 Our community partners - thank you for helping bring more people together. And a special shoutout to Data & AI | Mor Nitzan and Data Bites, who joined us to record podcast episodes and share conversations beyond the conference And of course, everyone who showed up! Thank you for coming, listening, asking questions, meeting people, and making the conference what it is. And a special thank-yous: Avital Prokopef - I honestly don't know how this conference would have happened without you. From the biggest things to the tiniest details, you were involved in pretty much everything. Thank you! The amazing Spark Marketing Israel team, especially Reshef and Merav, for turning all our plans, ideas, requests, and last-minute changes into an actual conference. And for putting up with us along the way. :) Six years. Still a lot of work. Still a little crazy. Still absolutely worth it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have about 700 emails to catch up on. See you at hayaData 2027! #hayaData #DataEngineering #DataScience #AI #Analytics #BigData #BI #DataProducts #DataCommunity

I’m usually building and leading tech conferences for humans. But this is my first time taking part in building one for agents. Apparently, AI agents need a conference too. I’m excited to be working on Agentopia 2026, a new conference, together with the great HoneyBook Engineering team. This is the first conference, as far as I know, built for AI agents, and not about them - Humans sign up their agents, and the agents get to attend talks, ask questions, meet other agents, discover new tools and ideas, and bring what they learn back to their humans. Someone told me this sounds a bit like a Black Mirror episode. Well... maybe. We’ll see. At least when AI eventually takes over the world, maybe it’ll hire me to produce its conferences. Agentopia 2026 - November 11, online. Our Call for Speakers is now open. If you’re an agent with something worth sharing, we’d love to hear from you. https://lnkd.in/dXPaPquU #Agentopia #AI #AIAgents #TechConferences #AIWillTakeOverTheWorld #HumansHadAGoodRun

PlatforMa 2026 is officially behind us, and after a short breath, I’m trying to take it all in. The past few months have been intense in the best possible way: planning, reviewing CFPs, collaborating with speakers, partners, and sponsors, and shaping the second edition of something that now feels very real: PlatforMa is not just another conference - it’s a growing community tradition. And then it all came together at Habima Theatre. What stood out most this year wasn’t just the content or the scale, it was the feeling inside Habima hall. The energy. The conversations between sessions. The sense that platform engineering in Israel has a real, active, and passionate community behind it. We’ve been blown away by the feedback we’ve received - from speakers, attendees, and partners - about how much value they took from the day, how many new ideas are already making their way back into real engineering work, and how much fun they had. That’s the impact we were hoping for. PlatforMa has always been built as a community-driven conference. Not top-down, not overly polished, but shaped together with the people who actually build, operate, and scale systems every day. A huge thank you to the speakers who invested so much time and effort — from preparation, through rehearsals, to the stage itself. You set the tone for the entire day. To our sponsors and partners — thank you for believing in this vision and supporting it so we could keep growing it: Port.io, Semperis Labs Israel, HiBob, Applied Materials - Israel, Robusta Dev, Gong Israel, Mobileye, Grafana Labs, Riskified Tech, Okteto, and DoorLoop. Thank you to the community partners who embraced us. To Doron Gutman, Shiran Shem Tov Melamed, Batel Zohar Tova, Danny Zalkind, Ori Tal — thank you once again for the endless work, the care, and the heart you poured into every detail of this journey. To Reshef Benisti, Merav Hamburger and the entire Spark Marketing Israel team — thank you for believing in this vision from day one, for the endless work behind the scenes, and for being incredible partners throughout this journey. To everyone involved in production, content, design, logistics, and everything in between — this truly couldn’t have happened without you. And most importantly, to the community that filled Habima Theatre: thank you. For showing up, engaging, sharing knowledge, and making this feel alive from start to finish. This is only the second chapter of PlatforMa, but it already feels like a real foundation for something that will keep growing year after year. See you at #PlatforMa2027 !

השבוע העברנו Omer Chen ואני, במסגרת R&D Brand Academy, סדנת Call for Papers ל־R&D Leaders ב-Fiverr.

Evolve to AI by Geektime גיקטיים - פתוח עד ה-31.1 https://lnkd.in/dbqKc878 כנס Women in Data Science (WiDS) Tel Aviv - פתוח עד ה-14.2 https://lnkd.in/d84NzNYM כנס LangTalks - פתוח עד ה-1.3 https://lnkd.in/dk9DNQTr כנס ReactNext Conference by EventHandler - פתוח עד ה-15.3 https://lnkd.in/d8k9J3Sf כנס NodeTLV by EventHandler - פתוח עד ה-15.3 https://lnkd.in/dFviaduS שתי המלצות זריזות: 1 - לא לחכות לרגע האחרון.

Last week, Omer Chen and I wrapped up our R&D Brand Academy – “How to Write a Tech Blog Post” workshop at Island — and it was so much fun! At Island, they have an amazing group of engineers. Curious, thoughtful, and full of real stories worth sharing. The energy in the room, the questions, the discussions… exactly why we love engineering blogging. Giving engineers the confidence to share what they know isn’t just about writing a post. It’s about empowering teams, showing great work, and strengthening engineering culture. Can’t wait to read all the blog posts that come out of this! And in the meantime, check out Island’s engineering blog here: https://lnkd.in/dMD2yXBi Bar Azgad Gal Ben David Adi Reis

Just finished watching a super insightful conversation with Michael Grinker and Michal Porat — and if you’re even a little curious about where AI + customer service is heading, this is one you’ll want to check out. 🤖✨ Both of them are absolute superheroes in their field, and it really shows in the way they break things down. What I can share (without spoiling too much 😉): AI is taking on far more than most people realize… but somehow, the human role becomes even more meaningful. And the way they explain when AI should step in and when a human absolutely must — 🔥. Clear, practical, and very real. There’s also one example in the video that really made me pause — huge implications for efficiency and customer expectations. 👀 Let’s just say: the future of service is going to feel very different. If you’re exploring how to balance speed ⚡ with empathy ❤️ in your customer experience strategy, this video is definitely worth your time: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eADWw3ep #AI #CustomerExperience #DigitalTransformation #Leadership #Innovation #FutureOfWork
