And that's why, before implementing Echo, we were spending hundreds of engineering hours making sure our container images were secure. Upstream open source dependencies came with immense vulnerabilities — many of which weren't actionable, but still required review, documentation, and follow-up. The process was noisy and added serious operational overhead to our release cycles. That's why we turned to Echo's vulnerability-free container images, which have enabled us to eliminate exposure to over 10,000 known CVEs while cutting the amount of time our team spends investigating these findings. More importantly, our teams are no longer wasting time chasing vulnerabilities in code they didn't even write, and our customers can stay confident that the images we ship are secure. Secure foundations matter. Fixing issues at the source changes the equation. We appreciate the Echo team for being responsive and committed to getting this right with us — highly recommend taking a look if you're unfamiliar with the pain.

Eylam Milner פרסם/פרסמה את זהWhat does Anthropic’s Claude Code Security mean for the cybersecurity space? Firstly, it's an exciting move. It shows a major shift in mindset, with the market now recognizing the importance of proactive security (secure code by design) together with reactive security (code scanning). For some context - this new ability is addressing the vulnerability management field, which broadly runs across two distinct tracks: (1) Vulnerability detection and fixing - how fast you find and fix new security issues in your code (code issue) (2) Patch (fix) implementation and shipping – the time it takes to apply these fixes for end users of the software (process problem) So Anthropic’s new announcement is about to revolutionize the first part with: - Better detection of complex security issues in code - Faster fix creation It’s a huge step forward for the open source and security communities. And it’s also a sign that the workload on the implementation and shipping side is about to grow exponentially. Open-source maintainers are already famously overworked, so when a free (for OSS projects) tool like Claude Code Security gets widely adopted, the number of security findings will inevitably explode. These maintainers will be flooded with AI-generated security reports and pull requests, and the number of disclosed vulnerabilities is going to rise a lot. When an open source project is done fixing, it has to go through testing, backporting, version release cycles, distro packaging, and artifact building (i.e, container image you can use with the fix already applied). And this process takes ~80 days on average. That’s 80 days end-users are still affected by a vulnerability that was already fixed due to process complexity. And with the detection and fixing track now getting accelerated with AI, that timeline is only going to expand. That’s the problem we focus on at Echo. What typically takes months in the traditional supply chain can be reduced to hours with Echo’s secure-by-design software artifacts and automated patching workflows – even with the rise in vulnerabilities that are detected and fixed. And as detection improves with AI, the entire lifecycle will have to as well.

PHP – נחשפו שתי פרצות קריטיות שעלולות לאפשר הרצת קוד מרחוק ללא הזדהות. הפרצות תוקנו ב־21 באוקטובר, אבל תהליך החשיפה המתואם עורר מחלוקת לאחר ש־Chainguard פרסמה גרסאות מתוקנות לפני המועד שסוכם. Node.js / Brotli – פורסמו תיקונים לעשר פרצות אבטחה, ארבע מהן בדרגת חומרה גבוהה. המ��מעותית שבהן היא CVE-2026-111497, פרצת זיכרון ברכיב הדחיסה Brotli שעלולה לאפשר הרצת קוד מרחוק. מאחר ש־Brotli משמשת גם פרויקטים אחרים, ההשפעה אינה מוגבלת ל־Node.js. eMudhra – התגלה ששמונה מפתחות פרטיים של רשות אישורי האבטחה נוצרו בצורה חלשה שאפשרה לשחזר אותם. אגב, אחד מהם היה פשוט הספרה 4. המשמעות היא אפשרות להנפיק תעודות מזויפות ולהתחזות לשירותים לגיטימיים. התעודות הרלוונטיות בוטלו, ולפי החברה אין ראיות לכך ששימשו להנפקת תעודות לאתרי קצה או שנפגע מידע של לקוחות. LiteLLM – גרסה 1.107.0 של ספריית ה־AI הפופולרית הופצה עם קוד זדוני שנועד לגנוב מידע רגיש. לפי תחקיר החברה, התוקפים ניצלו פרטי גישה שנחשפו בעבר כדי להגיע לתהליך ההפצה. הגרסה הוסרה, והאירוע מדגים איך פגיעה בתהליך הבנייה וההפצה יכולה להגיע ישירות למשתמשי הספרייה. Plex – ארבע פרצות ב־Plex Media Server, שתוקנו כבר באוגוסט, נכנסו לרשימת הפרצות המנוצלות בפועל של CISA באוקטובר. כלומר, גם חודשים אחרי שיש תיקון זמין, עדיין קיימות מערכות פגיעות שתוקפים מנצלים. Palo Alto, Cisco ו־BeyondTrust – גם כאן דווח על ניצול פעיל של פרצות במוצרי תשתית ואבטחה. בין היתר, פרצות בממשקי ניהול של חומות אש, בשערי דואר אלקטרוני ובמערכות גישה ותמיכה מרחוק.

And here we are again. This time, we're building a different kind of company. Hiring humans alongside fleets of AI agents, all working towards a shared goal, in ways that weren't possible until now. We're fortunate to have incredible people supporting us, customers who already rely on what we're building and teach us every day, and an amazing core team that's still growing. There's a lot more I'll be able to share soon. But for now, I can say that we've been rethinking everything from the ground up. The world is getting crazier by the day. We're betting that this is just the beginning, and we're building for what's next, pushing the limits of what's possible. I'll be sharing our journey publicly, including what it actually looks like to build a company in the age of AI. Armis, the Israeli-founded cybersecurity company co-founded by Yevgeny Dibrov (CEO) and Nadir Izrael (CTO), has been acquired by ServiceNow for $7.75 billion in an all-cash deal. Just last month, Armis raised $435 million at a $6.1 billion valuation in one of the largest private financings in the sector this year, led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives with participation from CapitalG, Evolution Equity Partners, and existing investors. We were pleased to design and deliver a dedicated, hands-on Cloud Security workshop led by CYBERPRO Israel for Discount Bank בנק דיסקונט, focusing on the real-world cybersecurity challenges of cloud environments within large financial organizations. The workshop was tailored specifically for Discount Bank’s cyber, information security, and IT teams, with an emphasis on regulation, risk management, and operating securely in multi-cloud and multi-service environments. Key topics included the shared responsibility model, identity and access management (IAM), Zero Trust, advanced monitoring and detection, segmentation, and secure cloud architecture. Throughout the day, we combined in-depth technical learning with live simulations of real cyber incidents, enabling participants not only to understand cloud threats but to experience, analyze, and respond to them in a controlled, practical setting aligned with their organizational reality.
