Adi Meir Eisen שיתף את זהוויקס מחפשת אנשי דאטא! אל תתלבטו, פשוט תשלחו!Adi Meir Eisen שיתף את זהאז נתחיל מהסוף: אני מחפשת Data Engineers ו-BI Developers. וגם מנהל לצוות ה-Data Management שלנו. בואו נהיה כנים, השוק רותח! כולם מחפשים מפתחים ואנשי דאטה. אז למה וויקס? מה מבדיל אותה מחברות אחרות? במילה אחת - growth. זו מילה שהרבה מנהלים אוהבים לזרוק לאוויר בזמן האחרון. אז אני 7 שנים בוויקס (גם אני בשוק מזה). התחלתי בתור אנליסטית, ומאז שיניתי פוזיציות 5 פעמים. הגדילה שלי אמנם היתה לכיוון ניהולי, אבל לא הייתי יכולה להתקדם בכיוון הזה אם Wix לא היתה מאפשרת לי לגדול גם באופן רוחבי. הייתי אנליסטית בשלוש קבוצות מוצר שונות. הרחבתי את הידע שלי בעולם הדאטה ורכשתי ידע בפיתוח data pipelines תוך כדי התפקיד. משם גדלתי לכיוון ה-data eng ופיתחתי את יכולות הניהול שלי. קיבלתי עוד ועוד הזדמנויות ללמוד ונחשפתי לטכנולוגיות ולידע שלא היה לי קודם לכן - דיסציפלינות של data gov, פיתוח ב-Python ו-Spark וכמובן ניהול צוות וגיוס עובדים. אחד הדברים שוויקס מובילה היא ההשקעה בעובדים שלה ויצירת התנאים עבורם לגדול. החל מפלטפורמות למידה שוויקס מממנת, דרך משרות סטודנטים שמתאימות גם לתארים מתקדמים, וגולת הכותרת - מעבר בין תפקידים ודיסיפלינות הוא עניין שבשגרה! אז כמו שאמרתי אנחנו מגייסים אנשים נוספים לצוותים שלי ולצוותים מקבילים. יש המון הזדמנויות, לעובדים מרקעים מגוונים. חולמים על דאטה בלילות? מכירים מישהו שדאטה זורם לו בוורידים? תרגישו חופשים לתייג, לשאול שאלות ב-DM , או פשוט תשלחו קורות חיים ל - yaelra@wix.com.

Adi Meir Eisen שיתף את זהבואו לעבוד איתנו!Adi Meir Eisen שיתף את זהלפני 3 שנים וקצת, זכיתי להיות חלק מקבוצת הData engineers בWix. הקבוצה עדיין לא הגיעה אז לשלב ההבשלה. אחרי מספר ETLs (מבין הראשונים שנכתבו בספארק) עלה ה-פרוייקט הגדול ביותר שיצא לי להיות חלק מבנייתו הראשונית- Wix analytics, מערכת של מאות מליוני היוזרים של וויקס שמאפשרת להם לראות דשבורד עם נתונים על האתר שלהם: מכירות, כניסות יוזרים וכו. הפרוייקט היה בסקופ וקצב גבוהים מאד. פיתחנו את החבילה ששימשה את כל שאר המפתחים בקבוצות לשלב את המידע שלהם במערכת ובעיקר היינו המוקד למרבית האתגרים בבניית הפלטפורמה. לימים המערכת גדלה, התפתחה והפכה להיות יחידה עצמאית בוויקס שמונה כיום עשרות מפתחים, מנהלי מוצר וכו. ואם עסקינן בהתפתחות, מאז וויקס נתנה לי את האפשרות להתפתח ולהוביל את צוות הData engineers automation, המורכב מהמפתחים הכי תותחים בתעשייה, על אמת. פיתוח עובדים הוא אחד מאבני היסוד ש-Wix חרטה על דגלה וזה היה הסיפור שלי, אבל אם תלכו למסדרונות שלנו, לכל עובד יהיה את סיפור ההתפתחות שלו. אז אנחנו גדלים ומחפשים את האחת/ד שיצמחו ויתפתחו איתנו. מי אנחנו היום? צוות הData engineers הכי חזק בוויקס והסביבה. מה אנחנו עושים? בונים כלי דאטה במטרה לשפר את ה- dev velocity של שאר קבוצות הדאטה בוויקס. אילו כלים אנחנו בונים? DWH automation - הכלי שבונה ועורך טבלאות DWH, ע״י קונפיגורציה בלבד, ללא כתיבת SQL. AB test platform- פלטפורמה שמאגדת את התוצאות של מאות הAB test שנעשים בוויקס בכל רגע נתון לטובת אנליזה פשוטה. Data quality platform- תהליך שמבצע בדיקות איכות על מאות טבלאות. Data explorer- כלי הUI לטובת תחקור מודלים. באילו טכנולוגיות אנחנו משתמשים? Python, Apache Spark (Pyspark), Airflow, Trino, Iceberg את מי אנחנו מחפשים? It never quite happened. I kept switching tools but never found the balance between what I do manually and what I let something else handle. Symphony is the first time that's felt different. It's not a tool I have to operate. It's an agent that actually executes. Symphony by Wix gives small businesses their own AI agent platform, not one assistant but a whole coordinated group of agents running your business operations. So I decided to give it a shot too! I started small, connecting Gmail and Google Calendar, and just having those two run on their own already freed up more of my day than I expected. Next I'm exploring what it can do with WhatsApp, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The daily tasks that used to sit in my queue just get done. That shift, from "AI that helps me work" to "Agents that work for me" is the part worth paying attention to. Adi Meir Eisen הגיבו על זהAdi Meir Eisen הגיבו על זהIn the past few days I have been bombarded with messages from Israeli employees, friends and colleagues from all over the world sending screenshots of one of Wix’s employees who states that Israel is a terrorist state. Our team members in Israel have been through so much since the horrible Oct 7 Hamas attack; they are in mourning, some lost their homes, others have lost friends and family members, many have been to multiple funerals in the span of the last 2 weeks (sometimes more than 1 funeral in a single day!) and some even know that as the body recognition process progresses they will have to go to more very soon, others have been personally locked for hours while shots were fired outside their shelters and friends were murdered, there is so much pain and personal trauma. In the midst of this, for all the Israelis to be called terrorists by someone they perceive as a teammate and a colleague is unfathomable, unexplainable and unacceptable. The employee posted something inflammatory of a similar kind last week. She was asked by her manager to be sensitive to her peers after being told how much pain this is causing her foreign colleagues and removed that post, yet only a few days later chose to post the above mentioned post that essentially points a blaming finger at the victims of horrific terrorism. Wix is a global company, it is an open and a liberal company. We would never try to limit anyone’s political views, we do however also hold a strong set of internal values about our team spirit, partnership and friendship. These accusations in such troubling times not only harm our Israeli team's spirit, they also threaten the great connection between our Dublin offices with our 500 team members and their Israeli colleagues. We therefore decided to part ways with this employee.

Adi Meir Eisen אהבתי את זהAdi Meir Eisen אהבתי את זה״החיים שאחרי״ תמיד סקרן אותי איך זה ירגיש לקום בבוקר, כשאין באופק תחרות מתקרבת, כשהגוף לא כואב מהאימון ערב, כשלא צריך לנסוע לוינגייט ליום ״עבודה״ שכולל אימונים, טיפולים וכו׳.. יש בזה משהו מפחיד.. לצאת לעולם בגיל 32. קצת כמו להוולד מחדש. שנים שהשקעתי בג׳ודו וההקרבה הייתה עצומה. כמו סוס דוהר, רוב הקריירה ראיתי רק את המטרה מול העיניים. להצליח בתחרות הזו, ומיד אחרי זה להצליח בתחרות הבאה. אתה כל הזמן עסוק בלהיות ״מוצלח״, כי זה מה שמחנכים אותך. תביא מדליה - תהיה מאושר. תהיה מוצלח - החיים שלך יהיו טובים יותר. נוסחה מאוד ברורה ואוי ואבוי אם תטיל בה ספק (: ואז ביום אחד כל הסיפור הזה נגמר, המרדף מקבל תפנית. פתאום יש ימים פחות פרודוקטיביים, וזה מרגיש לך כאילו אתה לא בסדר. אתה כבר לא חלק מהנבחרת (באופן טבעי) וכבר לא חלק מקבוצה. אתה הופך להיות סוג של זאב בודד. אבל דווקא במקום הזה, כשאתה פחות עטוף, אתה מתחיל לגלות כל כך הרבה על עצמך. על מי אתה באמת לא רק כספורטאי - גם כאדם. שאלות שאף פעם לא שאלת את עצמך מתחילות להתעורר מבפנים.. והחיפוש הוא מרתק. אנחנו כל הזמן מתמודדים עם שינויים, האי ודאות הוא דבר לא קל. האומץ לשנות קריירה, להפרד ממשהו/ מישהי/ו שכל כך אהבת והתרגלת זה מפחיד. אז איך אפשר בכל זאת להתמודד טוב יותר עם שינויים בחיים? קודם כל - ״להכין את הקרקע״. להיות שלם מבפנים שזו ההחלטה הנכונה, ליצור עוגנים - מקורות הכנסה, מטרות חדשות, סביבה תומכת. לא להיות קשים עם עצמנו ולזכור שכל יציאה מאיזור נוחות, אמנם בהתחלה קשה, אבל בהמשך מביאה איתה דברים חדשים ומרגשים. המשך שבוע טוב ואמיץ בשינויים! אורי
