As a geography games company we feel our duty is to both entertain and inform. We take our responsibility very seriously and follow long established international norms. For example, to ensure variety of content across the Worldle Daily we follow the ISO 3166 country codes standard. Every day players get familiar with a different country or territory around the world, leaving a little bit more informed. Wow ✨ Geozee has just passed 1 million players in just under a month! Obviously we were optimistic about the game but the reception it's got has been humbling! The concept was pulled together within a week. One of our talented developers had a hunch for a game mechanic he wanted to pursue. So he ran with it! Whats particularly interesting about the success of Geozee, is its not easy. Geozee asks players to keep the wider puzzle in their heads. They must remember the countries and categories already used, retain possible matches for later, resist an obvious answer when it may be more valuable elsewhere, and continually reassess the remaining combinations after every move. The result is a compact form of mental gymnastics: part recall, part categorisation, part planning and part constraint-solving. Knowing individual facts helps, but success depends equally on managing information across the entire game. That intentional friction appears to be central to the appeal. Player satisfaction doesnt come from just recognising a correct answer, it comes from holding the puzzle together mentally and gradually finding a route through it. Thank you for playing!
