At Hyper Cyber, we take pride in building and testing high-quality custom computers. Our return policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and customer-friendly, while ensuring our systems are handled properly.

Because our products are professionally assembled and configured, returns are subject to the conditions outlined below.


Return Window

We offer a 30-day return window starting from the date your order is delivered.

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery

  • All returns require prior approval from Hyper Cyber

  • Items sent back without authorization may not be accepted

To request a return, we ask that you provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • A brief explanation of the return request

  • Clear photos of the computer, including:

    • Exterior of the case

    • Interior components

    • Packaging (if available)

Photos are required for condition verification, insurance, and safe return approval.
Once reviewed, we will provide return approval and detailed instructions.


Return Eligibility & Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, the system must be returned:

  • In original condition, as it was shipped

  • With all original internal components installed

  • Free from physical damage, liquid damage, electrical damage, or misuse

  • Without missing, substituted, or altered parts

All systems are documented and recorded by configuration and serial numbers prior to shipment.


Opened, Modified, or Disassembled Systems

Returns are not eligible for systems that have been:

  • Opened or disassembled

  • Modified or upgraded in any way

  • Had components removed, replaced, or swapped

  • Internally altered (including cables, cooling, or wiring)

This applies to components such as (but not limited to):

  • GPU, CPU, RAM, storage drives, power supply, motherboard, and cooling hardware

Note:
Opening or modifying the system ends return eligibility, but does not void your warranty. Any technical issues will continue to be handled through warranty support.


Packaging & Packing Requirements

Original Packaging

Customers are required to keep the original packaging to safely return a computer.

  • This includes the original box, internal foam, and protective materials

If Original Packaging Is Not Available

  • The system may be packed by the customer

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the PC is securely and properly packed

  • Damage caused by improper packing may result in:

    • A reduced refund

    • Or denial of the return

Packaging Replacement Option

  • Hyper Cyber can provide new approved packaging for a fee of $100

  • All provided packing instructions must be followed


Shipping Responsibility

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise approved

  • Returned systems should be shipped with appropriate insurance

  • Damage that occurs during return shipping is the customer’s responsibility


Inspection & Return Outcomes

All returned systems are carefully inspected upon arrival.

If we discover:

  • Missing or incorrect components

  • Part substitutions

  • Signs of disassembly or tampering

  • Intentional or preventable damage

Hyper Cyber may:

  • Decline the return

  • Issue a partial refund

  • Or apply a restocking fee of up to 70%, depending on the situation

Any deductions are based on the cost of restoration, replacement parts, and labor.


Restocking Fees

Approved returns for non-defective systems may be subject to a restocking fee, which can be up to 70% based on:

  • System condition

  • Usage

  • Inspection results

Restocking fees may be reduced or waived for unopened, unused systems returned in excellent condition.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

  • Any shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported within 5 days of delivery

  • After this period, issues are handled under warranty rather than returns


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or modified computers

  • Systems with missing or altered components

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or special-order configurations

Partial or component-only returns from complete systems are not accepted.


Warranty vs. Returns

  • Returns apply to unmodified systems within the 30-day return window

  • Warranty service applies to hardware or performance issues outside the return window or on opened systems

Warranty service may include troubleshooting, repair, or replacement as appropriate.


Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days after inspection

  • Financial institutions may take additional time to post the refund


Fair Use & Return Abuse

We aim to handle every return fairly. In rare cases involving return abuse, fraudulent claims, or chargebacks, Hyper Cyber may limit or decline future return or service requests and provide documentation to payment processors if required.
